Widen Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869) from North of Atlantic Boulevard to SR 7 FPID: 435461-1 Project Description This project widens a nine-mile segment of the Saw- grass Expressway (SR 869) from north of Atlantic Boule- vard / SR 814 to SR 7 / US 441. The widening will in- crease the number of tolled travel lanes from six to ten lanes. This project includes pavement reconstruction, pave- ment milling and resurfacing, and interchange improve- ments at Sample Road (MP 11), Coral Ridge Drive (MP 14) and University Drive / SR 817 (MP 15). Project Status This widening project is in Design, and Right of Way is funded in Fiscal Year 2021. Utilities, Environmental and Construction for the widening are funded in Fiscal Year 2022.
