Pedmons one of talented animator, illustrator and graffiti artist from Indonesia, based in Singapore. How he survived on the path that he chosed and let him share his story.

Describe yourself in 5 words

Describe myself in 5 words? Illustrator, Animator, Graffiti Artist and Young Independent Artist that only like to draw hahahaha I don’t know.

Why you took this path?

Basically, I feel that I’m born as an illus-trator that’s why I think I’m really good at beside that the thing that I’m quite not good as good as illustrator. Being able to be an illustrator is a very big grace of what you can learn from as an illustrator you can draw on paper, canvas, and anywhere. One of the media that I want to learn the most is graffiti because with graffiti you can draw in big space and it’s something good to learn with.

If you get any chance what do you want to be?

If i have a chance what I want to be?I want to be an Independent graffitiartist that sell toys that where people know who i am with my character and my toys all over the world.

Graffiti for hobby or full time job?

I think graffiti is good for being an hob-by. Because that’s not a lot audience who appreciate graffiti, that’s only some certain of audience that actually want to spent some money for us to do graffiti. But for now I just do it for my passion and because people love it.

If they give you choice which one you take between to be an animator or graffiti writer?

I think graffiti is good for being an hob-by. Because that’s not a lot audience who appreciate graffiti, that’s only some certain of audience that actually want to spent some money for us to do graffiti. But for now I just do it for my passion and because people love it.

Tell us about your character

Pedmons comes from P E D Prata-ma Eka Dharma my full name and the mons comes from monster, because previously when I was like in elementa-ry school I have this dream that I want to create a lot series of monster and I want to introduce it to world as a toy of series of monster that I created, but then at the end it comes to be like one character and its red, why is it red color and why is it devilish and have hallow on top of it because I feel red is actually myself and most people probably see as a bad guy or a fierce guy, but actual-ly I’m not that bad and the other reason is because I love red.

Is there anything that push you until right now?

Since long time ago I have my goal in mind that to defeat current myself to be-ing better than what I am now, so I think I am capable of the thing that I have the gift why don’t I push myself to be better as possible, that’s trying to be the best for everything that I do like is not half hearted, because everything that you do half hearted will become half at the end.
