4WIDOS welding machine Miniplast 2

The MINIPLAST 2 is a weldingmachine for the heating ele-ment butt welding of PE, PPand PVDF pipes and fittingsfrom OD 20 to OD 110 mm.The basic machine has twolarge aluminium basic clam-ping tools which are swivelling15 on each side for the fabri-cation of segmented bends. Byscrewing in 4 small reductionclamping inserts, a doubleclamping is obtained at thesmaller diameters. For fittingswith short legs, a small fittingclamping tool is available. Dueto the special construction ofthe pressure build-up device,the machine can be fixed di-rectly at very short pipe endson walls and sheets. Due to itslight and compact construc-tion, the machine is ideally sui-ted for use in the pipeline sy-stem and for assembly work.In the case of stationary use,the machine can be fixed inthe vice or at the table sup-port.In addition, an extended versi-on for the fabrication of T-pie-

ces and elbows 90 (up to OD90 mm) is available. On bothsides, each basic clamping toolcan be swivelled up to 45.This basic machine is verticallyand horizontally adjustable.The light and compact manualface cutter is operated bymeans of a ratchet.The electronically adjustedheating element in accordancewith DVS 2208 (230 V/600W) has a diameter of 120mm, an anti-stick coating andcontrol lamps for system andinterval checking.For the safe storage of theface cutter and the heatingelement, a heat-protected boxis available. The sheet steelcarrying case serves for thetransport and the protectedstorage on the complete MINI-PLAST 2. Also available: versions in 110 V, F or with Ibs-force-dis-play.

Mobile machine for the hea-ting element butt welding ofpipes and fittings made out ofpolyolefines of the dimensionsOD 50 - 160. The solid basicmachine has two aluminiumclamping tools swivelling eachto 15 for the fabrication ofsegmented bends. By usingdifferent reducer inserts of asmall, large or extra-largetype, all clamping options canbe realized. For fittings withextremely short legs, solidsteel clamping tools in smallversion are available.The solid base with ball-bea-red guidings, spindle andpower input damped bysprings enables quick move-ments for short change-overtimes as well as a soft pressu-re build-up. Due to the com-pact and solid design, the ma-chine is ideally suitable for theusage at places with difficultaccess under on-site conditi-ons. For the stationary usage,an additional basement isavailable which enables to usethe machine as table-set.

The solid planer (230 V/400 W)with electric drive has beenoptimized with respect to amost simple handling.The electronically controlledheating element (230 V/800W) has a non-stick coating ofhigh quality, an external mainsswitch and control lamps forinterval checking. The exacttemperature control meets allrequirements of DVS 2208.For the safe storage of hea-ting element and planer, asolid and easily portable heatprotected box is available. Thecomplete machine can betransported and stored in atransport case with additionalcompartments for all reductioninserts.Also available: versions in 110 V, F or with lbs-force-dis-play.

Heizelement-Stumpfschweimaschine fr Rohre undFormteile aus Polyolefine von DA 20 bis DA 110 mm,alle Nenndruckstufen.

Diese Maschine ist sehr handlich, hat ein geringesGewicht und ist besonders geeignet fr Baunhteoder fr Schweiungen an schwer zugnglichen Stel-len. Als Besonderheit knnen an dieser Maschine diebeiden ueren Spannwerkzeuge der festen und be-weglichen Seite abgeschraubt werden, um problemlosFormteile miteinander verschweien zu knnen.

Die Rohre bzw. Formteile knnen in einem festen undeinem beweglichen Doppelspannwerkzeug leicht undschnell eingespannt werden. Die Bewegung des Dop-pelspannwerkzeuges und der Aufbau der Fgekraft er-folgen ber ein Handrad. Die Fgekraft ist stufenloseinstellbar.

Der Planhobel (230 V/450 W) wird in die Fhrungs-wellen eingehngt, hat einen elektrischen Antrieb undeine automatische Spanabfuhr nach auen.

Das Heizelement (230 V/500 W) ist teflonbeschichtetmit einem Durchmesser von 130 mm, hat eine Kon-trollampe, einen Ein-/Ausschalter, eine thermostatge-steuerte Temperaturregelung und ein Anschlukabelmit Schukostecker.

Die Spanneinstze zum Reduzieren der Durchmessersind lieferbar in folgenden Dimensionen: DA 20/DA 25/DA 32/DA 40/DA 50/DA 63/DA 75/DA 90 mm.

Der Stahlblechtragekasten dient zur Aufnahme undzum Transport der Maschine und Zubehr.

WIDOS 110

Butt welding machine with heater for pipes and fittingsmade of polyolefines from OD 20 up to OD 110 mm,all nominal pressure rates.

This machine is very handy, light and particularly sui-table for making seams on the site or for weldings atbadly accessible places. As a peculiarity of this ma-chine, the two outer clamping tools at the fixed andmobile ends can be screwed off in order to be able toweld together fittings without any problem.

The pipes or fittings can easily and quickly be clam-ped in a fixed and a mobile double clamping tool. Themovement of the double clamping tool and applica-tion of the joining force are controlled by a hand-wheel. The joining force is steplessly adjustable.

The face cutter (230 V/450 W) is hinged onto the gui-de shafts. It has an electrical drive and an automaticexternal chip removal.

The heating element (230 V/500 W) is anti-stick coa-ted and has a diameter of 130 mm, a control lamp, anon/off switch, a thermostatical temperature control anda connection cable with Schuko plug.

Clamping tools to reduce the diameters are availablein the following dimensions: OD 20/OD 25/OD 32/OD 40/OD 50/OD 63/OD 75/OD 90 mm.

The sheet steel carrying case serves for the receptionand transport of the machine and its accessories.

WIDOS 110

Machine souder pour le soudage bout--bout de tu-bes et raccords en matires polyolfines du DE 20 auDE 110, tous degrs de pression nominale.

Cette machine est trs maniable, lgre et particu-lirement qualifie pour des soudures sur chantier ou des endroits mal accessibles. Comme spcialit, onpeut dvisser les deux outils de serrage extrieursaux cts fixe et mobile de la machine afin de pouvoirsouder des raccords sans aucun problme.

Les tubes ou raccords peuvent facilement et rapide-ment tre serrs dans un outil de double serrage fixeet un outil de double serrage mobile. Le mouvementde loutil de double serrage et la production de la for-ce de jonction se font par un volant. La force de jonc-tion est rglage continu.

Le rabot (230 V/450 W) est suspendu sur les arbresde guidage. Il a un entranement lectrique et unevacuation automatique des copeaux vers lextrieur.

Le miroir souder (230 V/500 W) tflon avec undiamtre de 130 mm a une lampe de contrle, un in-terrupteur, une rgulation de temprature thermosta-tique et un cble de raccordement avec fiche Schuko.

Les bagues de compensation pour rduire les dia-mtres sont disponibles dans les dimensions suivan-tes: DE 20/DE 25/DE 32/DE 40/DE 50/DE 63/DE 75/DE 90 mm.

La valise mtallique sert la rception et au transportde la machine avec accessoires.

Light and solid heat-ring wel-ding device for the weldingof PE and PP pipes and fit-tings on building sites. Due tothe modular and compactversion especially appropri-ate for the welding in crampedproblematic places. The ma-chine can be dismantled intolight pieces in no time andthus minimizes the efforts fortransport and handling consi-derably. Reducer inserts aremounted into the basic clam-ping tools in order to applydifferent pipe dimensions.The optional basic frame isequipped with precise linearguidings for an exact andeasy movement of the basicclamping tools. For an easyon-site fabrication of seg-mented bends it is possible toswivel the basic clampingtools from 7,5 up to 15 oneach side. The solid high per-formance hydraulic system ishung up in fast changeabledevices and can be used withall sizes. Optional supple-mentary hydraulic systems in-

crease a comfortable appli-cation and can also be useduniversially with all models.The electronically adjustedheating elements are anti-stick coated and monitored inaccordance with the directiveDVS 2208. Heating element butt welding machinefor pipes and fittings out of polyolefinesfrom OD 450 up to OD 2000 mm for theuse on building sites and in trenches. Themachine has a double clamping systemon both the tight and movable side thatare placed on two guiding shafts. For aneasy and fast erection resp. dismantlingupon maintaining, the hydraulic cylindersare screwed next to the guiding shaft.Two flexible hoses with quick-action cou-pling enable the connection to the hy-draulic controlling device. The doubleclamping tools are screwed to the steelpipe sub-construction. The external tightclamping tool can be dismantled easilyby removing seven screws in order toweld at difficult accessible places liketrenches or at branches of T-pieces. Theelectric hydraulic unit for the movementof the right double clamping device andfor the exact control of the welding for-ces has a post-pressure facility to supportthese forces while cooling down and twoquick-action couplings. The planer isfixed to the guiding shafts, has a chaindrive in a closed aluminium housing witha gear motor and an automatic chip re-moval. The heating element is fixed tothe guiding shafts, anti-stick coated, has

an electronic temperature control withdisplay, controlling lamps, an on/off-switch and a connecting cable withshock-proof plug. For the heat-protectedstorage of the heating element and theplaner, a reception box is available.Smaller pipe dimensions can be clampedby means of reducer inserts dependingon the pipe diameter. A lift-off device forthe easy inserting and removing of theheating element and the planer is avai-lable. All components are covered by theWIDOS works warranty. The WIDOS wel-ding machine can easily be equippedsubsequently with the WIDOS SPA weldlog recorder (see page 22) and can alsobe supplied in CNC-controlled version(see page 23). The WIDOS welding ma-chine has a voltage of 400 V. Other vol-tages on request.

WIDOS SPA 600

The WIDOS SPA 600 weldlog recorder serves to a sim-ple logging of the welds ofbutt welding with heatingelement. It can be combinedwith all WIDOS welding ma-chines and has an easy userguidance. The unit consists ofa solid sheet-steel case withbuilt-in computer, outsidetemperature control, pressu-re absorber and parallel in-terface for customary prin-ters. Furthermore it is prepa-red for the use of a PCMCIAmemory card as well as abarcode reading pencil. TheSPA 600 is fixed to the pro-tective frame of the hydrau-lic system and connected tothe hydraulic system at theSchuko socket with a connec-ting cable. The pressure ab-sorber is placed in the pres-sure line between the hy-draulic coupling via a minimeasuring tube and a t-piece. The second tempera-ture probe for transmittingthe heating element tempe-rature to the recorder is in-tergrated in the heating ele-

ment and connected to theunit with a connecting cablewith special plug.

The WIDOS CNC 3.0 is thethird generation of our CNCcontrol units. The unit whichhas proven to be appropriatefor the every day applicationhas been improved in its easyuser guidance and softwareas well as supplemented witha PCMCIA memory card anda barcode reading pencil.The extended memory allowsthe recording of more than a1000 weldings. The new lar-ger display emphasizes itssuitability for the applicationon building sites with the newthree-chamber safety hou-sing. A program modificationhas been included for dataretracing according toISO/TC 138/SC 4/WG 2and is freely selectable. The sawing installation RS inextra-solid design has been de-veloped particularly for theexact cutting of plastic pipesand meets highest requirementswith-in modern productionlines. The extremely solid saw bow isoptimized for operation withlow vibration and is driven onprecise linear guides. The banddrive with high torque perfor-mance is equipped with abrake so that any after-runningafter switching off or after pus-hing the emergency-off buttonis avoided. The forward feed issecured against saw forcesbeing too high by means of asafety clutch and totally insensi-tive to the produced cuttings.The complete forward feed unitis mounted on a high loadablelive ring and can easily be tur-ned manually for 45 or 67,5when being unlocked pneuma-tically. The band position andthe set angle are displayed ondigital devices which can beadjusted to zero very easily by

means of pneumatic centeringdevices.The pipe supports have an ex-tremely solid design so thateven heaviest pieces can beclamped safely and displacedon the exchangeable slidingcoatings with minimal expendi-ture of force. Extensions for thepipe supports are available asoption. The pipes are clampedby means of a pneumatic cylin-der over the complete area tobe worked, an initial adjustingto the pipe dimension is not ne-cessary. When using an optio-nal transverse support inconnection with an integratedturning of the band and a digi-tal display and locking of theposition, a negative radial cutfor the fabrication of reducedbranches at T- and Y-pieces canbe easily performed. Due tothe solid base of the completeinstallation, assembling works in the workshop become unne-cessary, only the horizontal ad-justment by means of adjustingscrews has to be carried out.

WIDOS 2500 P

Pneumatic welding machinewith simple SPS-control forthe input of the time para-meters and thermostat. Allmovements of the machine,heating element and table,are made pneumatically. Thenecessary welding force isadjusted by means of apressure relief valve; thestandard version reaches aworking pressure up to 12bar, the maximum force ofthe table however can beadapted to the single appli-cations.Due to its bench-type design,the machine can be easilytransported and mounted.The machine's basic equip-ment is delivered withoutclamping devices for the pie-ces to be welded. Upon re-quest, our constructing en-gineers will design suchclamping devices accordingto the different applications.Just ask for our ideas!The standard heating ele-ment (working 190 mm) isequipped with nonstick-coa-ting, connecting cable with

plug, control lamps for inter-val, on/off switch and elec-tronic temperature control.

Basic frames, specific clam-ping devices for the piecesto be welded and packingfor the transport upon re-quest.
