BACKGROUNDThe globalisazion era tend to make young

people forget with their nation identity, because his lifestyle tend to imitate the western culture which is regarded as the center of the world. the negative impact of globalization tends to lead to a moral crisis and bad attitude. Therefore the young generation are expected in education system nowday is people who have a good personality, religious, smart , creative , healthy , have cultural and environmental view and beneficial, for people and nation.

There are more integral School in Pekalongan but there is no one that apply local content subject in their curriculum such as Batik skill.

It must be introduced from the begining

Some Integral school are not focus on indonesia culture such traditional dancing

The use the National Curriculum as our operational curriculum to make some adjustments themes adapted to the local character of the school that is in harmony with the Indonesian national curriculum targets . It was decided to facilitate and assist teachers to further develop learning processes that are in a whole include aspects of doing , experiencing , feeling , seeing, hearing , thinking , summed up what we call a learning method of finding or with other language learning methods of inquiry .

Pekalongan is a small town in Central Java which is familiar with cultural herritage such as batik and craft. The art, craft and culture of Batik are the main field of business for the people of Pekalongan in directing their entrepreneurial enthusiasm. People of Pekalongan are also famous for the aspect of their religiousness. This may be seen from many buildings and religious facilities as well as many religious activities for celebration of religious holy days.

the local content subject is “membatik”, since pekalongan is familiar with batik as their cultural heritage so, student should be taught how to paint batik design and make batik . the subject can be given for students in the third and fourth grade, they start to learn how to paint a simple motif of batik, in the fifth to sixth grade they study how to make a simple batik from colouring until finishing.

school are intended to all pekalongan citizen in all level society.The school fee are suited with the condition of parents, but parents who are able to pay more can be a donator to other who are lower. Parents who need daycare for their children can pay more sparately
