Christmas  Shuffle    

Directions:    This  game  is  for  4-­‐5  players.    If  you  are  playing  with  4  players,  then  remove  all  Wild  Cards.    If  you  are  playing  with  five,  make  sure  to  keep  all  of  the  Wild  Cards  in  play.    Shuffle  the  cards  and  deal  them  to  each  player,  one  at  a  time.    Each  player  should  have  8  cards.    The  youngest  player  starts.    The  first  player  lays  down  a  card.    The  next  player  must  match  the  picture  (Santa  and  Santa)  or  the  number  (two  Christmas  Trees  and  two  Candy  Canes).    If  the  player  cannot  make  a  match,  then  that  player  must  pick  up  all  of  the  cards  that  are  down.    The  next  player  will  begin  the  round.    A  Wild  Card  can  be  played  to  match  any  card.    The  next  player  must  either  lay  another  Wild  Card  or  match  the  card  previously  played.    If  each  player  is  able  to  play  a  card  in  a  round,  then  the  player  that  started  the  round  will  pick  up  all  the  cards  and  put  them  in  a  discard  pile.    That  player  then  starts  the  round  again.    The  winner  gets  rid  of  all  of  his/her  cards  first!
