Veterans Pledge – Update 2020 The Curbside Donations for Wildwood’s Veterans Pledge have not gone well for understandable reasons. Without the large groups & lack of park traffic it is difficult to get donations for this great cause. You can still make donations at site 234, the site with the Canadian & Wounded Warrior flags, until Labour Day Saturday. Thanks to the six sites that have donated thus far & we will have some type of draw for those donating on Sunday
September 6, 2020. I am working on another project idea to raise monies for a Veterans Cause but have yet to work out the fine details. More info will be coming in the days ahead. Stay tuned & thanks for your patience. Vik
from Gary Sitton
Thank you for your support of the Recreation committee.
MEMORY GARDENS
Have you visited the garden inside the gate? This garden is dedicated to the memory of individuals who are Members or were Members in the Park, and have passed. To those of you who may wish to put a stone in their memory, advise the office of your interest and what you wish the stone to say. Prior to doing this you will want to check out the garden stones around the bench, and the limit to what you want written on the stones used. Cost of the stone is $38. The money is to be given to the office. I will then make arrangements to have them engraved. Jane (site 224).
If you plan on having this done, now is the time to do this. If you wish this to be done this year, you will have to put in your request by the end of August. Thank you to Heather (site 62) for offering to pick up the completed stones in London.

Kudos to two fantastic girls in Wildwood
Brook site 150 and Brooke site 64 did a rock sale in the park about a month ago with rocks they painted. People were so generous. They raised
$100 each all donated to humane society.
This week they are going to buy food etc for the humane society to
donate.
LETTER FROM K-W HUMANE SOCIETY TO BROOK Thank you so much for your generous donation. You are a very thoughtful young lady. I wanted to let you know that your donation will help little kittens like MJ here. She is currently in foster care. Your gift will help to provide her with good food, warm snuggly blankets, and all the toys and supplies she needs before she is old enough to go to her forever home. Sending you tail wags and purrs from all of us here at the Humane Society. Thank you!
Thank you so much for all the donations Wildwood Members plus thanks for all your hard work girls.
