HOTLINE® SPECIFICATIONS• The hose shall be a single jacket construction with 100% virgin spun polyester yarn.• There shall also be a minimum of 12.0 filler yarns per inch in the jacket.• The thickness of the lining shall be 0.015" (381 µm) minimum and it shall be constructed of extruded T.P.U. elastomer.• The outside jacket shall be treated with yellow ENCAP elastomer, which shall completely encapsulate the jacket fibers and not

merely surface coat the jacket.• The hose service temperature range shall be -60°F to 140°F (-51°C to 60°C).• FM abrasion test of 5,000 cycles minimum and Taber abrasion test of 1,000 cycles minimum.• At 600 PSIG (4200 kPa), its elongation shall not exceed 8% of the initial hose length, it shall not warp more than 20 inches (51 cm)

and should not rise from the test table.• The hose shall not twist more than 12 turns for the 1" (25 mm) size, and not more than 8 turns for the 1½" (38 mm) hose

per 100 ft (30,5 m) while at 600 PSIG (4200 kPa).• Minimum service test pressure of 300 PSIG (2100 kPa).• Minimum proof test pressure of 600 PSIG (4200 kPa).• Minimum straight burst test pressure of 900 PSIG (6300 kPa).• The hose while curved to a radius of 27" (69 cm) shall not burst at less than 900 PSIG (6300 kPa).• Meets or exceeds UL specifications.

T.P.U. Lining

Thermoplastic Urethane (T.P.U.) lining, an elastomeric polymer made from a polyester-polyether compound,which offers these unique features:

• Flexibility at –60°F (–51°C).• Tear strength three times greater than rubber.• Maximum resistance to hydrolysis (NL 8103-80).• No plasticizer to weaken adhesion or leach out to cause

lining stiffness and cracking.• No edge stress cracks as in direct extrusion processes to

cause eventual lining failure.• Virtually immune to aging and microbial attack.• Resistant to pure mineral oils, petroleum,

hydrocarbons, most solvents and greases, weathering, ozone and ultraviolet light.

• Maximum temperature for water flow of 140°F (60°C).

ENCAP® Treatment

Due to the nature of this high performance polymer andthe process by which it is applied, ENCAP® virtually encapsulates every fiber of the substrate thereby imparting superior physical properties such as:

• Abrasion resistance gain of 500%.• Resistance to pure mineral oils, petroleum,

hydrocarbons and most solvents and greases.• Virtually immune to fungal growth.• Minimal water retention versus untreated hoses.• Excellent UV resistance.• A wide variety of colors: yellow, green, red, blue, clear,

These seminarsinclude the application of the equipment for fire fighting situations, the recovery and maintenance of the equipment, as well as workshops on fire controlin general.

WARRANTIESA. Warranty on Products Distributed by Wildfire

Wildfire makes no warranty, express or implied, with respect to any product distributed by it and manufactured by third-party manufacturers. You, thepurchaser, can only rely upon such warranties, if any, that are made by their respective manufacturers and subject the limitations that may be contained insuch warranties according to the respective terms thereof. Wildfire hereby assigns, as applicable, any such manufacturer warranty to you as thepurchaser, if assignable. However, Wildfire disclaims all other warranties or conditions for items whether express, oral, implied or otherwise, as to anymatter whatsoever, including but not limited to, implied warranties or conditions of merchantable quality or fitness for a particular purpose and thosearising by statute or otherwise in law or form a course of dealing usage of trade.

B. Warranty on Products Manufactured by or for Wildfire

Wildfire offers a limited warranty as described fully below. Among other things, it also specifically disclaims liability for:

• Failure of the product if it is used for other than its intended purpose.• Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Wildfire.• Unreasonable use, supplemental damage, or damage to the product not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.• Any personal injury, damages of any kind resulting from misuse, improper installation, negligence, repair or alteration of the product.

No Consequential Damages

Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.This statutory warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state or province to province. Wildfire offersa limited guarantee of all products manufactured by Wildfire to be free of defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date ofinvoice subject to use of such products strictly according to instructions. Any product manufactured by or for us believed by you to contain a defect must bereturned to Wildfire for examination and evaluation. You are responsible for payment of transportation charges. If after inspection by us or an expertappointed by us the product is in fact found to be defective, Wildfire will repair or replace the defective product and reimburse the original buyer fortransportation charges to and from our warehouse.

Limitation of Liability

THE WARRANTY SPECIFIED HEREIN IS LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED, OR IMPLIED.

Wildfire hereby expressly disclaims any express or implied warranties of merchantability or of fitness for any particular purpose.

Wildfire’s liability on any claim of any kind, including negligence, for any damage or loss including but not limited to personal injury or consequentialdamage arising out of, connected with or resulting from this contract, or from the manufacture, lease, sales, delivery, resale, return, repair, maintenance,handling or use of any product covered by or furnished under this sale, shall in no case exceed the purchase price. Wildfire shall not be liable for any penaltyor for any special, indirect or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, any economic loss, loss of revenue or loss of opportunity.

The foregoing warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability orfitness for a particular purpose. Your exclusive remedy with respect to any and all losses or damages resulting from any cause whatsoever, including ournegligence, shall be repair or replacement as specified above. We shall in no event be liable for any consequential or incidental damages of any nature,including without limitation, damages for personal injury or damages to property, and however occasioned, whether alleged as resulting from breach ofwarranty or contract by us or our negligence or otherwise.
