William Shakespeare was born April 26 1564. There is some controversy over when

Shakespeare was born.

Romeo and Juliet is one of Shakespeare’s most famous plays

that he wrote.

• - William Shakespeare lived to 52 years old. He died in the year 1616. Some people believe he was born April 23rd 1564 but others believe he was born on the 26th.

• On his tomb stone lie a curse. "Good friend for Jesus sake forbear; To dig the dust enclosed here! Blest be the man that spares these stones, And curst be he that moves my bones," was the 'curse' inscribed on William Shakespeare's tombstone.

• A lot of Shakespeare’s life is unknown. • Shakespeare's wife was 8 years older than him

and three months pregnant when they got married.

• All of Shakespeare's Family could not read.• All of Shakespeare's grandchildren died he

had no descendants.

• The Majority of Shakespeare's plays were published after Shakespeare had passed away.

• Know one really knows what Shakespeare looked like. This is because all of his paintings were painted after he had died.

• The Globe theater burned to the ground on June 29, 1613. It set on fire by a cannon shot during a play of Shakespeare’s.

• Shakespeare's son, Hamnet, died in 1596. His daughter Susanna died in 1649. His younger daughter Judith had three children, but all died before their mother and without children. His granddaughter Elizabeth, daughter of Susanna, died with no offspring in the year 1670. Ending the William Shakespeare Family.

All of Shakespeare's brothers and sisters died before Shakespeare died.
