Niagara is home to two post secondary educational institutions Brock University and Niagara College Specialty programs graduating students dedicated faculty and unique facilitieslaboratories that support alternative energy development in wind solar hydroelectric thermal and biomass offer a rich array of resources to the emerging green energy sector the development community and investors For example investments made by Niagara College in a suite of programs offered at the Welland Campus at its new Skilled Trades and Technology Centre and Brock Universityrsquos new Centre of Innovation for Bio-manufacturing will become the cornerstone of education and training for the regionrsquos emerging renewable energy industries and occupations
