Better Sliding Glass Doors Dual Interlocks at the Meeting Rails: Imagine two tubes parallel to one another, such as the vertical jamb members of our sliding glass door panels. If they are not physically linked together in some way a force or load on them will cause them to separate or roll apart.

Two rows of

INTERLOCKS have been incorporated into our jambs so they combine to form one strong element.

The interlocks assure that the panels actually lock together to resist any force that is placed upon them. This feature was designed to withstand forces created by the winds from hurricanes.

We just want to thank Lee Little Remodeling for the installation of our Windoor windows and sliding doors. Ourcondo had numerous accounts of intrusion of water during normal storms. We couldn'timagine what would happen if a "real" storm hit. We decided on the WinDoor system because of the reports from the Texas Windstorm Agency.
