Cautions

1. You will lose your applications upgrading straight to Windows 8.1 even while selecting upgrade

2. Microsoft advises there is no upgrade path to Windows 8.1 directly from Windows 73. Acronis True Image 2013 does not allow mouse to control cursor - you must use the arrows

on the keyboard4. Acronis True Image 2014 supports mouse control with Windows 8.15. Free upgrade is available from Acronis for True Image 2014
