Windows Server 2012 R2 fails to boot after backup and restore of fresh new install:

Windows Server R2 still doesn’t boot even after restoring the EFI Partition first:

PC’s UEFI Boot Mode is set properly:

Latest SSR version used for backup (trial works fine for backups).  A licensed SSR x64 is used to restore.

Backup of freshly installed Windows Server 2012 R2 (on physical hardware, not a VM).  The following photos highlight

the File system types:

Now, restore the Windows Server 2012 R2 backup (booted from SRD x64 v11.0.2.49853):

For comparison, Disk 1 Partitions after WS2012 R2 installed, but before Disk 1 wiped so backup can be restored:

Partitions after Disk 1 wiped clean so WS2012 R2 backup can be restored:

Wiped Disk 1 Partitions details popups (the mouse pointer arrow indicates the partition of focus)  Hmm, will SSR create

Invalid Disk Layout (alert occurred twice).  Very odd since SSR itself just created the backups!
