CLICK – when choosing item, point the cursor to the item, press down the left mouse button, and release.
DOUBLE CLICK – clicking the left mouse button twice.
DRAG – Choose the item to range; then press and hold down the left mouse button as you move the pointer. Release mouse button when you have moved the item to the new location.
RIGHT CLICK – choose item, then quickly press down and release the right mouse button.
Most common method of moving is to use a mouse.
Keyboard can also be used when working with Windows.

MOVING A WINDOW
- you can move window anywhere on desktop by positioning mouse cursor
anywhere on title bar and then drag windows to new location.
SIZING A WINDOW
- position mouse cursor anywhere on border (side) and drag the mouse to
the desired size.
USING SCROLL BARS
- scroll bars have arrow button, scroll box, and scroll area.
- to move around click the arrow end of the scroll area or drag scroll box to
specific area to move directly to that location.
When finished working on computer, save files, close programs and log off computer
Use the shut down command to switch off computer.
Use Log off when someone else wants to log on with their name and password.
- use Switch user to switch to another user.
Use Turn Off Computer to either shut down computer, restart computer, or put computer into Hibernation mode.
- restart will restart or reboot computer.
