Hetero Windpower Limited, promoted by Hetero group of companies, was incorporated in 2010 with the objective of setting up windpower generation projects across India. The company aims to establish 500 MW capacity wind farms in next 5 years and plans to increase the capacity to 1000 MW by 2017 – 18. To accomplish this objective, company proposes to:

Hetero Windpower has obtained capacity allotment of approximately 300 MW in Andhra Pradesh and started acquiring private / Revenue lands for development of projects. The company is considering most suited and efficient wind turbines from reputed manufacturers from India and abroad and committed to complete the project in 2 to 3 years time. Plans have been drawn to get additional capacity allotment in Andhra Pradesh and also identified sites in states of Rajastan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharastra.

Dr. N R N Reddy, Director & CEODr. N R N Reddy, a Doctorate in Agriculture from prestigious Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, has served as an officer of Indian Revenue Service in Customs and Central Excise for 15 years. He has left his job at the age of 40 to establish companies in diverse business sectors and to help needy and disadvantaged sections of the society.

Mr. M. Srinivas Reddy has more than 18 years of rich experience in various facets of busines management. He is associated with Hetero Group since 1993. He has completed Masters in Business Administration (Marketing)

Mr. B. Vamsi Krishna is associated with different business enterprises in their strategic planning both in USA and in India. He has rich and varied knowledge of Project Execution and Strategic Management areas in Pharmaceutical Industry. He has completed MS in Chemical Engineering.
