We at The Times West Virginian are distinctly honored and privileged to bring you the results of our Best of the Best Readers’ Choice Awards for 2020. This special edition is perhaps our most highly anticipated publication each year. But, like so many plans and scheduled events this year, it had to be delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, more than ever, our local businesses face unique challenges posed by the current health crisis. And, they have responded by adapting staying resilient while continuing to

provide outstanding products and services to the community. This publication is a celebration of our local businesses that have succeeded at what they do each and every day. All of the businesses, places and people that earned honors in this publication have a good reason to be proud. Because they were each chosen by the most discriminating of judges – you! It’s not easy to be voted as one of our area’s Best of the Best. Our readers first nominated their local favorites in more than 120 categories from among eight main areas which included: Dining, Services, Shopping, Professionals, Health & Beauty,

Entertainment & Leisure, Education and Community Brag. The Top 5 nominated in each category were then placed on a final ballot and readers selected their top choice in each of those same categories. We at The Times West Virginian simply tally the votes and present the winners.
