Dear Club Membears,
What a magical time of year this is. It is nearly impossible not to get swept up in the holiday spirit with all the joyful hustle and bustle. And while we are quite busy here getting ready for the holidays and working on designs for next year, I wanted to personally extend a heartfelt thank you for being part of our Cherished Teddies family. It is Club Membears like you that make all that we do worthwhile!
Last October we participated in a 20th anniversary celebration in Mystic, CT. It was an amazing event! Read about our adventures on page 13. We appreciate all of you who were able to celebrate with us.

Congratulations Glenn & Lara Hillman!
We are so happy to congratulate Glenn Hillman on his recent nuptials to his beautiful bride, Lara. The two were wed on Nantucket Island on Saturday, November 17th. 1. Combine broth, potatoes, onion, and spices.2. Boil on medium heat until potatoes are tender, smashing a few of the potatoes to release their starch for thickening.3. Reduce to low heat and add cream cheese.4. Heat, stirring frequently, until cheese melts.5. Dish into large mugs or soup bowls and top with shredded cheese, green onion, or bacon, as desired.

Hot and homemade food and drinks, either savory or sweet, have the ability to warm your very soul. Try these tasty dishes to help bring warmth to your winter days.
1. Beat 1/2 cup cream and 1 teaspoon sugar in bowl until soft peaks form. Cover; chill.2. Whisk 1/2 cup cream, 2 tablespoons sugar, and milk in medium saucepan over medium-high heat; bring to boil.3. Remove from heat. Add chocolate and whisk until smooth.4. Whisk in peppermint extract.5. Divide chocolate among mugs. Top with chilled cream and hook candy canes on edge of mugs.

In true Cherished Teddies fashion, our grand 20th Anniversary Celebration last October in Mystic, Connecticut was an event that left all who attended with some pretty fantastic memories, in addition to a bevy of exclusive product, and many Cherished Teddies prizes!
Exploring the beautiful Mystic Seaport, in all of its spectacular autumn glory, was just part of the excitement. The fun also included visiting some fantastic marine animals, a costume party (in which the Hillman family came dressed in all-out nautical attire!), signing times with the artists, indulgent meals, and many games and Cherished Teddies activities. By the end of the three day event, we gave away more than 400 prizes!
Guests were treated to a special video montage celebrating the many Cherished Teddies events over the years. We are happy to share it with those of you who were not able to attend, and those of you who wish to see it once again! You can view the video here.
We would like to thank all of those who made this amazing event possible and everyone who shared the weekend with us. We look forward to the next time we can all be together again!
