Wipro Kawasaki Precision Machinery Pvt Ltd

• The joint venture between Wipro and Kawasaki titled ‘Wipro Kawasaki Precision Machinery

Pvt Ltd’ will manufacture hydraulic pumps for excavators.

• A new manufacturing facility in Bangalore is to be set up with an investment of Rs 500Mn

(USD 11Mn) and an initial capacity of 4,000 pumps to be augmented to 15,000 pumps by

2015.

• The state of the art manufacturing facility will commence operations from July 2012.


• Leveraging on 35 years of experience in hydraulics and actuators to enter the field of

Aerospace and Defence.

• Agreement with the Spanish company, Compania Espanola De Sistemas Aeronauticos S. A.,

(CESA), a subsidiary of global aerospace major, EADS.

• Transfer of technology from CESA to WIN for the development and manufacture of actuators

and related components for the Aerospace sector.

• A new world-class, state-of-the-art, Greenfield facility in the Aerospace SEZ is coming up at

Devanahalli, Bangalore.

• The facility will be ready by end of 2012.
