Council Member Biography

Hong Jiang, Ph.D., is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Montina, a technology consulting and solution house. Dr. Jiang is a serial entrepreneur of several high-profile tech startups and has over 10 years of experience in the wireless industry.  She has raised venture capital funding for her past startups. She has worked extensively with mobile operators to bring multimedia content to handsets via new mobile broadcasting technologies such as BCMCS, MediaFLO, DMB, and DVB-H. She is experienced in mobile TV, MMS, PTT and WAP, TD-SCDMA, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, CDMA, OFDMA, EVDO, WCDMA, and LTE technologies. She is an expert in the Chinese mobile industry including 3G wireless development and wireless value-add services.  Previously, Dr. Hong was the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Roundbox, a wireless infrastructure vendor; and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tatara Systems. She has held executive positions at Flarion Technologies and Lucent Technologies.
