Wireless passive SAW temperature sensors

System performance levels are typical & application dependant. All parameters can be enhanced with customized development. All sensors & transceivers can be associated to build customized measurement systems. ISM refers to European license-free ISM band [433.05 MHz 434.79 MHz]. Other sensors operate inside frequency band [430.50 MHz 449.50 MHz].SENSeOR’s systems are delivered with necessary accessories for connection to computer, measurement read-out on Graphic User Interface & antenna connection.

The chips used in standard products are TSE AS10 or TSE F160 to 165 (see below).Other chips (TSE G043, TSE G044 & TSE F180 to 185) can be mounted in standard packaging upon request. All sensor chips can be mounted in customized packaging according to your specifications.Cryogenic sensor chip TSE F043 is only available in customized packaging with customized antenna.

Sensor mountings are compatible with various types of antennas through SMA connector (except for sensors with integrated antenna).

If our standard sensors do not cover your need, SENSeOR’s engineers will help you build a customized optimized system.

Wireless passive SAW strain gauges

Strain & Torque Measurement

Pressure & Temperature Measurement

Based on a range of available references (see below), SENSeOR’s experts develop customized wireless passive strain sensors covering various applications for instance in automation (torque on shaft, clamping force, tank level) or structural health monitoring (pipeline monitoring).Gauge references & positions, antennas, sensor mounting & packaging will be optimized depending on your application & specifications.

SENSeOR’s experts develop customized pressure sensors for wireless, passive pressure & temperature monitoring. Applications include instrumented valves for transportation or industrial use for instance.

For temperature compensation, TSE E019 or TSE D005 can be used if on-site calibration is performed after gluing gauges.Otherwise, factory-calibrated temperature sensors can be used for measurements on steel. To identify the appropriate reference, refer to compatible frequency band occupation depending on the gauge(s) used.If the part to monitor is not made of steel, the strain gauges & the temperature sensors need to be calibrated on the part on-site.
