problem(CPhasnota-priorireasontobeasymmetryoftheQCDLagrangian;however,CPappearstobeconservedinQCD).ASSBatavery-high-energyscale,givingrisetoanassociatedpseudo-scalarbosoncalledtheaxion,mightexplainit.Beingpseudoscalar(liketheπ0),theaxioncandecayintotwophotons.

Someconsequencesforcosmologicalphotonpropaga�on(seelater).  ALPs.Anextensionofaxions,relaxingtheaboverela�onbetweenmassand

coupling.  Ma�erinparallelbranes;ShadoworMirrorma�er.Sometheoriespostulatethe

presenceofma�erinparallelbranes,interac�ngwithourworldonlyviagravityorasuper-weakinterac�on.Intheoriespopularinthe1960s,a“mirrorma�er”waspostulatedtoformastronomicalmirrorobjects;thecosmologyinthemirrorsectorcouldbedifferentfromours,possiblyexplainingtheforma�onofdarkhalos.Thismirror-ma�ercosmologyhasbeenclaimedtoexplainawiderangeofphenomena.
