Artist Statement
My love for small colorful toys and the desire to experience the perspective of a miniature existence informs my process.
I use play to explore and embody my emotions.
Play is how we develop our identities and our fantasies bear witness to our desires.
Play is fun and free of consequence.
The act of making and the freedom that comes from play is satisfying;
the resulting image is the undetermined conclusion.
