Week 2 Project: Storyboard

Before I started the MCBS Program, I was feeling unappreciated and unmotivated because my skills

and talents were being taken for granted.

Even with over 20 years experience and many college courses under my belt, without a degree I

was not taken seriously.

I had always wanted to complete my degree but couldn’t find a program that encompassed all the

areas in which I had experience.

I searched and searched for a program that touched on graphic design, audio and video

editing, writing, media and website development.

But then while looking on the Internet, I clicked on an ad for Full Sail University.

At first, I couldn’t believe the many degree programs being offered and I took

my time and read all that I could about the school.

Because of that I found the new Media Communications Bachelors of Science

Online Program being offered.

When I read the program description, it was like a bright light beamed down

between the clouds and the sounds of angels filled the room.

Because of that I knew I wanted to attend this school and obtain a degree

in Media Communications.

I felt that I finally found a place where I belonged and where I could improve my skills in the varied areas of experience.

Because of that I talked with my husband, friends

and family and looked closely into financing.

To attend Full Sail would be a very large investment of both money and time,

especially for someone who has been in the workforce for more than 30 years.

Until finally I had all the information I needed to

convince myself to attend Full Sail University.

I took a deep breath and leaped into the program

with both feet and an open heart.

And ever since I decided to pursue my passion for media, I feel I am learning so much about

so many interesting subjects and being prepared for

where ever my career takes me.

It almost seems like Full Sail created Media Communications program just for

me!
