One of the most pristine ecoregions of northern Eurasia and rich in unique biodiversity and hosts the largest concentration of iconic wildlife species in
Central Asia.
ASER – Land of Snow leopard

MONITORING AND RESEARCH
MONITORING AND RESEARCH
Here they are!
Much better….
Nocturnal animals regularly come at night….
… but also at daytime.
37 snow leopards consisting of 27 adults and 10
cubs in 300 sq.km,
density is 1.2 individuals per 10 sq.km .

MONITORING AND RESEARCH
Core range 10.7 sq.km
Habitat range 23.6s q.kmHome range 61.0 sq.km
Basic snow leopard ecology is poorly understood.
Data on habitat use, home range, activity patterns, dispersal, mortality, diet, cub rearing, etc., are minimal (cluster sites can give information a bout what they eat and where the hunt).
Lacking key information that only good science can provide, conservation actions will not likely succeed.
