ABOUT PCMC

ABOUT WALLS OF HOPE Walls of Hope is a private initiative organized to restore the colorful murals in the Philippine Children’s Medical Center. It is our way of giving back to the hospital that once catered to the health needs of our generation back when we were young.

Our vision is to gather a community of hospital staff and volunteers who will be working together to bring back the hope that PCMC’s walls have been known to give its patients and visitors throughout the years.

The project is a 3-day event scheduled to happen on December 19-21, 2009 at the hospital grounds. It will be capped off by an art exhibit on the 22nd of December to show our gratitude to all the volunteers and donors who have helped us make Walls of Hope happen!

The Philippine Children’s Medical Center is one of the government-owned and controlled corporate National Centers for Specialized Health Care under the Department of Health. It is a 200-bed capacity tertiary hospital with a mandate to provide pediatric care, offer training programs for medical and allied health care providers, and be a center in clinical research.
