The wrestling team and their families joined employees from Woodside Energy to raise funds to complete this project. Gifts included: clothing, toys, food and money to help pay medical expenses for the families. The Saint Paul's Wrestling Wolves, following the Lasallian Principal of concern for others, adopted two local families to help provide them with a special Christmas. The wrestling team and their families joined employees from Woodside Energy to raise funds to complete this project. Gifts included: clothing, toys, food and money to help pay medical expenses for the families. Saint Paul’s Students and faculty donated seventy-four pints of blood, a record for our school, and it all goes to The Blood Center where it was able

to help 222 patients. The school sponsors a blood drive every fall and spring. Thanks to all who participated. Your donation goes directly to

those in need, truly a LaSallian effort.

The Saint Paul's District Championship winning Cross Country team was honored at a banquet to celebrate the completion of another successful season. Team members honored for their outstanding contributions to the team included in row one: John Grab, Coaches' Award; Trey Weiss, Coaches' Award; Kraemer Jackson, Junior High Most Valuable Runner; and Scott Brewster, Outstanding Runner. Row two: Lyle Manion, Coaches' Award; Matt Mouton, District Champion, Metro Champion, State Runner-Up, New Orleans All Metro Team and Most Valuable Runner; Ethan Mizell, Outstanding Runner. Terryl Chatham, Myrle Wiggins and Bud Weiss served as coaches for the program in the 2009 season.

The Saint Paul’s Mother’s Club held it’s annual Christmas Luncheon on December 3, 2009 at Bryan’s Bistro in Mandeville. At this meeting, they collected coats and toys for the Toys for Tots Program.

26th Annual Ozone Hospice of Saint Tammany Parish Spring Run Hospital Crawfish Cook-Off March 13th March 13th Be certain to mark your calendars for Saturday, March 13th for two important events being held on Saint Paul’s campus: The 26th Ozone Spring Run and The First Hospice of Saint Tammany Parish Hospital Crawfish Cook-off. 26th Annual Ozone Spring Run Races begin at 8:00AM under the Saint Paul’s Arch. This event includes: a half mile Fun Run, a Two Mile Run and a 10K Run. “The 15th Street Flyers” will direct all of the race details. Awards for the various races and red beans and rice will be distributed after completion of the 10K run. This race is the only Crescent City Classic qualifier on the north shore. Proceeds from the event help to support the community programs of the Saint Paul’s Alumni Association. Hospice of Saint Tammany Parish Hospital Crawfish Cook-Off Saint Paul’s Alumni Association will host this event for the Hospice group on our campus. It will begin immediately following the Ozone Spring Run at approximately 11:30 AM. Plans for thirty, five member teams are being made. Each team boils 200 pounds of crawfish with the traditional trimmings. Judges will determine the winners and trophies will be awarded. This will be a family event with activities for children and live music. Proceeds from the event will benefit both the Hospice of Saint Tammany Parish Hospital and Saint Paul’s Alumni Association. Sophomores Adopt A Family

WRESTLING CHAMPS The Saint Paul's Wrestling Wolves won the District 7-5A title on Saturday, January 9, at Northshore High School. The tournament was held in a dual meet format with the Wolves defeating Opponents Mandeville 43-28, and Northshore 63-18. Pictured in row one seated with the tournament trophy are: John Brands, Matthew Scott, Richard Stewart, James Cavaliere, Connor Campo, Jordan Peterson, Dominic Lovenitti, and Patrick Donadieu. Second row: Tyler Gettys, Michael Hemelt, Chris Arms, Greg Morales, Andrew Mullet, Zachary Mangrum, and Brandon LeBlanc. Standing are: Reagan Reed, Sam Girault, Ryan Seals, Peter Chatry, Steven Aertker, Korey Miller, Richard Green, Michael Robert and Gustavo Garcia.

Saint Paul's School followed the Lasallian Core Principal "Concern for Others" during the days before Christmas. The students and faculty collected over $11,000.00 to use to support a variety of Christmas assistance programs. The Adopt of Family Program of Saint Paul's provided Christmas gifts for thirty-six people, with the students doing all the shopping and wrapping. A $1000.00 donation was made to the Food Bank to help with their Christmas meals. A $1000.00 donation accompanied by volunteer man hours was made to the Rotary Club to assist with their Christmas Dinner program. The Rotary Club used the Saint Paul's Cafeteria and a number of the school's students and their families worked to cook and deliver Christmas dinners to those in need. In addition, a $500.00 donation was made to Christmas Angel Trees, a program organized by a number of church groups, to provide Christmas gifts.
