This month is always difficult because October is

Breast Cancer Awareness month. In December 2012

my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. The

following year I decided to dedicate each October

issue to breast cancer, and bringing awareness

about the disease. October is also

Domestic Violence awareness and in

honor of the many women that got

away, and the many women that

didn’t I dedicate this issue to them. I

dedicate this issue to the women who

are fighting for their lives and battling

breast cancer. I dedicate it to those

that have conquered the disease. I

dedicate this issue to the woman who

is trying to get out a violent situation, but

feels like she can’t break away. Know

that you are loved, know that you have

strength inside you, and know that there is

beauty within you.

I hope this issue inspires you. I hope it

inspires you to spread awareness on both

of these issues.

As always…Happy Reading
