WONDERLANDBy Huda, Marc and Valentino

We have decided to create our own artist, this is because it allows us to have creative freedom and it gives room for multiple ideas for our video, by choosing to build up an artist we can avoid restrictions and do what ever we want, this is key because we are aiming to avert general music video conventions. One way we will do this is by incorporating surrealism with our music video.
Content OutlineThis video will be based on a journey of a young male exploring London who develops a surreal view of the
environment around him, his appearance begins to alter and his surroundings become stranger, soon things begin to blur and the line between reality and the subconscious becomes a blur, he finds himself heading to one place and ends up in the
next, the entire video is unpredictable and unconventional.
Surrealism
Surrealism began in the early 1920's, the term was coined by Guillaume Apollinaire. Surrealism was aimed to allow
people to channel their subconscious and move freely in a dream world where they gain inspiration to form magnificent pieces of art, surrealists took in the opinions of philosophers,
psychologists and sociologists and they interpreted the work of these people to actively discuss their newly found movement
and liberal imagination.
Target AudienceOur target audience is Young adults and late teens, we have chosen this audience because they are likely to be more receptive towards our surreal concept, they are at a stage in their life where things that are out of the ordinary and intriguing become the things that they take a liking to and decide to explore. However some adults do indulge in surrealism but after evaluating our genre of choice it is clear that it is too urban and contemporary for adults to warm to.
Twitter is a growing social network site where people share their interests with one another and some also use it as a platform to interact with their favourite celebrities, we have searched through twitter to see exactly what people think of specific artists similar to our own and also to see if our target audience is the right one to market to.

Statistical analysiswhat is your favourite
genre?RockpopR&BSoul/Jazz
We asked students around harrow college about their favourite genre and if they had heard about our chosen genre before and if people liked artists similar to ours, this is important because it helps us to change and adapt towards what our target audience like. From what we can tell, more people enjoy pop the than any other genre, however soul/jazz is a close second and alternative soul has many elements of pop in it, therefore the results suggest our song has a steady chance of success

PropsApple and Bowler hat
This is a classic surreal image and one of the most known paintings in surrealism, the bowler hat is a
very significant figure in the culture and many artists have
used this painting as a reference to create their own take on this
image, we are planning on doing the same by bringing an element of each classic surrealist painting and include it in our music video
