Testing was conducted using Test Protocols TAS 201, TAS 202, and TAS 203 in accordance with the Florida Building Code for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone and Miami-Dade County requirements. The specimens tested met the performance requirements set forth in the referenced test protocols. The test results are summarized in the table below.

PROJECT DETAILS: Test Specimen Source: The test specimens were provided by the client. Representative samples of the test specimen will be retained by Molimo for a minimum of ten years from the test completion date.
Drawing Reference: The test specimen drawings were supplied by the client. The test specimen construction was verified by Molimo and was found to be representative of the products tested. FRAME CONSTRUCTION: Material: Milled mahogany wood with a stained finish Corner Details: Coped and butted, sealed with sealant, and secured with #8 x 3" wood
screws, three per corner. Other Details:
The head frame was constructed from four pieces; the main frame, an exterior blind stop, an interior sash stop, and a parting strip between the sash tracks. The blind stop was secured with #8 wood screws spaced 12"on center. The sash stop and parting strip were secured with brad nails spaced 12" on center. The sill frame was constructed from two piece; the main frame and the interior sash stop. The sash stop was secured with brad nails spaced 12"on center. The jamb frames were constructed from six pieces; the main frame, an interior sash stop, a parting strip between the sash tracks, interior and exterior weight box pieces and a plywood weight box cover. The sash stops, and parting strips were secured to the main frame with brad nails spaced 12" on center. The interior sash stop was additional secured with two #6 x 2" wood screws, spaced 3" on either side of the meeting stile. The interior and exterior weight box covers were secured with #8 wood screws spaced 12" on center. The plywood weight box cover was secured to the interior and exterior weight box covers with #8 wood screws spaced 12" on center.
