The series of wood-burning stoves has a beautiful and robust design with many built-in functions, which complete the use of the wood-burning stove. In addition, the wood-burning stove is delivered as standard, with heat storage stones (20 kg) in the TT80 and TT80S, which gives them the ability to store heat and release it later for a longer period of time.

The doors, top and bottom of the combustion chamber are made of cast iron - an extremely strong material, which gives the wood-burning stove a solid appearance. The wood-burning stove is more tapered than our other models. This feature makes it light despite the choice of solid material. TT30G, TT30GS and TT30G Classic are fitted with side glass, which offers beautiful visibility of the flames in the combustion chamber.

By combining the TT20RS / TT21RS / TT21RLS / TT21RHS / TT23RGS with the unique ability of soapstone to store heat, you can accumulate heat for up to 13 hours after the last ignition.**

• Soapstone has the amazing ability to store heat energy and to release it slowly.

• The module consists of a platform and 6 soap-stone components, which can be easily fitted on your new TT20RS / TT21RS / TT21RLS / TT21RHS / TT23RGS.

• If you are already a happy owner of a TT20RS / TT21RS / TT21RLS / TT21RHS / TT23RGS, your dealer can offer you to fit a Heat Storage module on your wood-burning stove at a later date.

• The stones together weigh almost 100 kg. The TT20RS / TT21RS / TT21RLS / TT21RHS /

TT23RGS already have approximately 80kg of soapstone so you will obtain almost 180 kg of clean heat storage, which means a noticeable effect.

• On page 51 you can see the difference bet-ween a normal steel wood-burning stove and a soapstone wood-burning stove with a heat storage module.

• The steel wood-burning stove heats up quick-ly, releases a lot of heat and cools down in a short amount of time after being in use

• Soapstone stores a lot of heat energy, which it releases for a long time after the fire has burned out. The stone base, which completes the total view, can be mounted on the TT20S, TT20RS, TT21RS and on the TT21RHS.

Most of TermaTech’s wood-burning stoves are convection stoves.This means that there is an inner shell and an outer shell. The air

between the two shells quickly becomes heated, rises upward and is distributed faster throughout the entire room. The stove takes in cool

air from the bottom, heats it up and and then the air is distributed at the top of the stove.

The difference between a well-functioning convection stove and a radiant heater is that with a convection stove you achieve a better

and more uniform heat distribution in the room.

The convection stove is also cooler on the outer surfaces.

SOAPSTONE: Around 2.7 billion years ago, soapstone, which is a mineral stone mainly consisting of talc, was created in our subsoil. Talc absorbs and conducts heat in an exceptional manner, which makes soapstone the ideal material for wood-burning stoves.

Soapstone absorbs the heat from the wood-bur-ning stove so that the heat is accumulated and then released for a long time after the last fire goes out.The heat from the wood-burning stove therefore lasts much longer. It is more uniform and looks more pleasant compared to conventional convection or radiation wood-burning stoves.It is the quantity of soapstone that determines how much heat can be stored. The more soapstone the-re is in the wood-burning stove cladding, the more heat it can store and release.

SANDSTONE: Sandstone is a mineral that has existed for millions of years. Its varied and fine-grained structure was created through currents and displacements in the earth’s crust. For this reason the structure of the stones is always different.

At times they can resemble wood grain, at other times they play with other shapes and colours.They exist in many different shades and textures, which have been created by wind and time.

PORTO WHITE: Porto White is a sandstone that is quarried in Portugal. It is very popular because of its peculiari-ty, which consists of small dark stripes. It gives the stone a warm and modern look. No impregnation or colouring takes place in the production of this stone. It is 100% natural.

They are all materials created by nature. Therefore the structure of the stone and its surface are natural variations, which means that the diversity of the stones may vary from the images that are shown in the catalogue. Each stone and each wood-burning stove has its own expression.

TermaTech’s woodburning stoves are approved by and meet the most stringent requirements in Europe. They are approved by, among others, Rhein Ruhr Feuerstätten Prüfstelle and The Danish Technological Institute who have completed the CE-approval (EN13240), the Austrian standard “15A” and the German standard “DIN+”.

The stoves are also tested and approved by SINTEF, which is a Norwegian testing institute and VKF, which is a Swiss institute. In England, all of the stoves are tested and approved by HETAS. TT20, TT21, TT22, TT30, TT60 and TT80 are also DEFRA exempt for smokeless zones, a distinction reserved for only the cleanest burning stoves on the market.
