Design and technology is all about being creative and solving problems. We often start with a design brief, which is a sentence outlining a problem we need to solve for some one else.
Design Brief: The popular website moonpig.com are wanting to create a range of recipe cards people could share with their friends and loved one’s. Your task is to create a 3D pop-up card which shares your favourite recipe
Maybe you’d like to cook your favourite recipe to demonstrate what it would look like – if you chose to do this, try to include:
Something that pops-up in 3D Include the ingredients of a recipe Be bright and colourful The recipe method (how to make it) Be creative A photo of your baked product
• Accurate weighing of ingredients.• Using the correct equipment• Cleaning your hands• Including different nutrients i.e. vitamins, minerals,
carbohydrates, protein and dairy.
These pop-up are available as a template, but you might chose to find your own using the internet or follow a tutorial on YouTube
