Oration- an elaborate,

formal speech

Retract- to draw back or in

Sanctuary- a place of

refuge or safety

Scamper- to run lightly

and hurriedly

Solace- comfort amid

sorrow or trouble

Somber- dismal; bleak

Zenith- the highest point;

the peak
