1 General

1.1 Mail with Thunderbird

Start Thunderbird first time, the client will launch new-user account wizard. Or you may startlmanually (Tools > Account Settings, left bottom button Account Actions click option Add MailAccount. You will see this dialog window:

Fill the fields, using a template:

Your name: Firstname LastnameEmail address: [email protected]:

Click button Continue. Thunderbird will try create and test your account. You will see the windowslike this:

Edit account settings to look like this:

In some cases Internet Server Provider block port 25, in this case you should configure SMTP server towork on port 465 as is shown in the next window:



Press Create Account button. New mail account was added successfully.

Open it in web-browser, you will be prompted to enter a username and password, enter the helpdeskusername and password, you will see a window like this:

Press right click chose View Page Source or Ctrl+U depends what web-browser you are using,copy the source page in a txt file, then open Thunderbird client chose Edit > Account Settings you willsee the following window:



Copy the Source Page from txt file in the Signature text field, and enable Use HTML, and saveyour configuration.

1.2 Company Address Book with Thunderbird

The next steps are required:1. Open https://cal.yopeso.com/SOGo/so/ login and select Address book



then Subscribe to an Adress book

then select yopeso_support address book and add it

Configure Thunderbird with remote address book, to do this SOGo Connector Thunderbird extension isreguired, download it from http://www.sogo.nu/fr/downloads/frontends.html then add it to Thunderbirdvia Tools > Add-ons as shown below:



Then Tools for all add-ons > Install add-on from file find the downloaded SOGo Connectors andinstall it pressing install.

To add a new address book start Thunderbird then chose Tools > Address Book in the openedwindow:

File > New > Remote Address Book

on the new added address book press right click and chose synchronize you have to see how allcontacts are retrieved:

1.3 Calendars with Lightning

Find the available calendarsl

Open https://cal.yopeso.com/SOGo/ username: password:

Clik on the calendar tab like in the following window:

Search the available calendars, click on subscribe to a calendar:

In the next window, search for the available calendars:



In the bottom of this window you will find yopeso_support calendar open it:

Then double click on the desired calendar and add it:



Right click on the added calendar Properties

Right click on the CalDAV URL and copy, this URL will be used to configure Thunderbird withdesired calendar.

Location URL is the URL that was copied in the previous steps.

Press Next, in the next window define the name of the newly created calendar.



Press next, the authentication will be required, use helpdesk username and password.

1.4 File Sharing with DAVBox

Requirementsl

You need Java Web Start running on Java 1.6 or higher.

Installationl

Just click on http://www.pincette.biz/davbox/index.xhtml, then run the download file doing double click,you will see a window as shown below and press run button:



For the first time application will ask for the license file, like in this window:

Locate the license file and press ok.

Accept the license agreement:



In the top right depends of OS you use will see the icon, right click on it and chose Synchronizationsand ensure that your settings look as shown above:

Press ok and you will be prompted to enter username and password, use helpdesk credentials.

To install new license or re-install, you have to downloadhttp://www.pincette.biz/davbox/install_lic.jnlp and launch it, in the opened window you must to locateyour new license file, like is shown below:

Select new license and press ok, if DAVBox application is started please close it and start it again as



is described in the previous section.

Exclude a specific folder from synchronizations you have to do the following steps:l

1. Put application in pause mode:

2. Right click on davbox icon an choose Exclusions:

3. A rule have to be defined in new window: Ex. To exclude all folders with the name wiki you haveto add rule like */wiki/:



4. Disable pause mode and start the Synchronization.

1.5 Chat with Pidgin

Starting Pidgin client, for the first time pidgin will prompt you to add an account, or via Accounts >lManage Accounts as show below:

Press add button,



Fill the fields, using a template:

Protocol: XMPP Username: Domain: chat.yopeso.com Resource:chat.yopeso.com Password:



Proxy tab chose No Proxy



and press Add button. Enjoy!

1.6 Development with Netbeans

Configure neatbeans to work with SVN, you need the following software and resources:l

NetBeans 6.8 and higher comes with built-in Subversion integration. You can find out more at theNetBeans/Subversion home page. If you are using NetBeans 6.0 or earlier, download one of the clientsbelow.

Specifying the Path to the Subversion Executablel

NetBeans IDE automatically tries to identify the location of the Subversion executable file by using the



$PATH system variable on your computer.Depending on your platform however, or whether you installed the Subversion client to a differentlocation, it may be necessary to specify the path to the executable file explicitly.

If you have installed the Bundled Subversion Client for Windows Users plugin, the IDE automaticallyfinds the path to the Subversion executable. You do not need to set the path manually.

By default, the Subversion executable file is installed in the /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin/ folder on UNIXand Mac OS X machines, and in C:\Program Files\Subversion\bin\ (or C:\Program Files\CollabNetSubversion\bin\) for Windows.

On *nix-based machines, you can verify the location of the Subversion executable by typing which svninto a terminal window. On Windows machines, you can perform a system-wide search for svn.exe.

To set the path to the Subversion executable file in the IDE:

1.Choose Tools > Options (NetBeans > Preferences on Mac) from the main menu. The Options dialogopens.2.Select the Miscellaneous icon along the top of the dialog, then click the Versioning tab. In the leftpane under Versioning Systems, select Subversion. User-defined options for Subversion display in themain window of the dialog:



3.In the Specify the SVN Home Folder text field, either type in the path to the executable file or clickBrowse to navigate to it on your system.Note that you need not include the Subversion executable file in the path.4.Click OK, then restart the IDE to allow changes to take effect.

Synchronizing Local Files with a Repositoryl

When using a version control system, you work by synchronizing local files with a repository, makingchanges to your local copy, then committing them to the repository. The following list describesvarious ways you can synchronize a project in NetBeans IDE, depending on your specific situation:

Opening a Subversion Project in the IDEl

If you already have a Subversion versioned project which you have been working with outside of theIDE, you can open it in the IDE and versioning features will automatically become available to you.The IDE scans your open projects and if they contain .svn directories, file status and context-sensitivesupport automatically becomes active for Subversion versioned projects.

Checking out Files from a Repositoryl

If you want to connect to a remote repository from the IDE, then check out files and immediatelybegin working with them, do the following:

In NetBeans IDE, choose Team > Subversion > Checkout from the main menu. The Checkout1.wizard opens.

Note: The IDE's drop-down menus are context-sensitive, i.e. the available options depend on the itemcurrently selected. Therefore,if you are already working within a Subversion project, you can choose Versioning > Checkout fromthe main menu.

In the first panel of the wizard, enter a URL that contains the connection protocol and location of therepository you want to connect to username: password:

Press next button, then finsih. All source files from repository will be downloaded.

2.1 MacOS X

2.1.1 Mail with Apple Mail

Start mail client and enter your mail account credentials as shown in the next window:

press continue in the next window chose: Account Type: IMAP Incoming Mail Server:mail.yopeso.com username: @yopeso.com password: xxxxxxx

then press continue as shown below:

2.1.2 Company Address Book with Apple Address Book

To create a CardDAV connection to your personal contacts you will need to go to AddressBookPreferencesAccounts.From there you add an account, select CardDAV as the account type, enter in helpdesk username,password and server address https://cal.yopeso.com/SOGo/dav/yopeso_suport/. See picture below foran example.



2.1.3 Calendar with iCal

Start ical application, in left corner chose iCal > Preference the next window will be opened:



Create a new account pressing + in the left cornerAccount Type: Caldavusername: password:URL: https://cal.yopeso.com/SOGo/dav/yopeso_support/as is shown in the next window:



2.1.4 Development with XCode

Start Xcode



chose Connect to a repository

In the next windows you must to enter location of the repository like this:https://dev.yopeso.com/svn/project-name/trunk/



Next step is to define the location.

Press Checkout and use helpdesk credentials to the authentication



Next step is to create a project with recently retrieved files.

2.1.5 VPN with Tunnelblick

1. Download Tunnelblick, at the moment Wiki was written the version washttp://code.google.com/p/tunnelblick/downloads/detail?name=Tunnelblick_3.2.6.dmg

2. Double-click the downloaded .dmg file. An icon for a Tunnelblick disk will appear on the Desktop,and a window similar to the following will appear:

4. Click the Open button to continue and a new window will appear, similar to the following, hereyou have to introduce username/password of the administrator

5. Click the Install button to copy Tunnelblick to your hard drive at the indicated location.

Once that is done (it may take a couple of seconds), a new window will appear, similar to the following:

6.Click the Launch button to launch Tunnelblick installation



7. If this is the first time you have run Tunnelblick as a particular user, or the first time after certainTunnelblick upgrades, the following window will appear - suggestions about updates:

8. Than you get the Configuration Helper. Here you press I have conmfiguration files

9. The next window asks you Which Type of Configuration Do You Have?. Of course you pressOpenVPN Configuration(s) button.



10. In the new window you have to choose Open Private Configuration folder. In this folder you haveto paste the content of the archive you got from administrator. This you can see in the next screens.



11. When configuration files are in place, you get the Tunnelblick icon on top - right corner of yourdisplay. Press the icon, than press Connect dude. Next you will see how Tunnelblick authenticates,receive the IP, and finally you will see it connected and color changed. To disconnect, just pressDisconnect



12. Uninstalling Tunnelblick

To uninstall Tunnelblick:

Disconnect any open connections. Change any configurations that are set to connect when thecomputer starts to connect when Tunnelblick is launched. Quit Tunnelblick. Move Tunnelblick.appfrom the Applications folder to the Trash. If you get a spinning beachball when you click theTunnelblick icon, that usually means that Tunnelblick has a window open and is waiting for yourresponse. Minimize or close the windows of all other applications (and in all Spaces) to expose thewindow.

If Tunnelblick does not have an open window, you will have to force Tunnelblick to quit. Follow theprocedure described in this discussion in the Tunnelblick Discussion Group.

Other than the preferences, configuration files, and LaunchDaemon files described in File Locations,there are no other files installed OpenVPN, scripts, and the tun/tap kernel extensions are containedwithin Tunnelblick and are loaded only when needed directly from there. Tunnelblick may storepassphrases or passwords in the Keychain at the user's request. Tunnelblick version 3.1beta02 andlater automatically unload the tun and tap kexts when you disconnect; otherwise you can unloadthem by restarting your computer or manually with the kextunload Terminal command. (Usually itdoesn't matter if they are loaded unless you are using other VPN software.)

Absolutely Complete Uninstall For a complete uninstall of the program and all support files, do thefollowing:

Make sure you have a backup of your Tunnelblick configuration file(s) the .ovpn and/or .tblk files.Make a note of any configuration settings and appearance and other preferences you have set up.(They will be lost.) Follow the instructions above at Uninstalling 3.1 & 3.2. Delete any files whosenames start with net.tunnelblick in the /Library/LaunchDaemons folder: Delete the following folders:/Library/Application Support/Tunnelblick and ~/Library/Application Support/Tunnelblick Delete thefollowing files: ~/Library/Preferences/net.tunnelblick.tunnelblick.plist and~/Library/Preferences/com.openvpn.tunnelblick.plist Delete the following link if it exists:



~/Library/openvpn Use Keychain Access to delete all Keychain items with names starting withTunnelblick. Restart your computer.

2.2 Windows

2.2.1 WAMP Server

Download

WampServer is an open source project, free to use (GPL licence). Installation package may bedownloaded from:http://www.wampserver.com/en/#download-wrapper

Depending on OS, choose 32bits or 64 bits edition to download. You must install Visual C++ 2010 SP1Redistributable Package x86 or x64 VC10 SP1 vcredist_x86.exe 32 bits :http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8328

VC10 SP1 vcredist_x64.exe 64 bits :http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=13523

Do not try to install WampServer 2 over WAMP5. If WAMP5 is installed on your computer, save yourdata, uninstall it and delete the WAMP5 directory before installing WampServer 2.

All the components of the v2.2 WampServer stack have been compiled with VC9 version of Microsoftcompiler. Earlier versions of Wampserver have been made with VC6 version of Microsoft compiler. So,You can't mix components of 2.2 stack with previous version of Wampserver Stack components. If youdo it you will get an instable Wampserver.

Installation

Installation wizard welcome window:



Next window you read and accept License agreement:

Choose installation path (folder):



Next window will ask to optional place for shortcuts. Press Next and then Install. Overallinstallation will take several minutes.

In the end of this process, Setup will request for providing additional information about PHP mailparameters which you have input next window. If you are not sure you need it or dont have it, leavedefault values:

Installation is complete. Setup will provide option to start Wamp server.

Drupal project add and profile setup



Below we will overview an example how to setup a Drupal project in newly installed Wampserver onWindows. First of all, when Wamp is installed you will see its icon system tray:

Left-click on the tray will provide you access to all components of Wamp:

Lets overview our default configuration. Choose option localhost. Browser will open this window:



To implement a Drupal project, we have to follow next simple steps:a. We go Wampserver menu, choose option ApacheApache modules, scroll down and enableoption vhost_alias_module and rewrite_module:

b. We go to:

and download file (check for latest or approved release, used for Wiki - v.7.14):http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/drupal-7.14.tar.gz

c. Next, we go to Wampserver installation location (by default, c:\wamp), and open folder www.

d. Create new folder and give the name, i.e. drupal.

e. Extract files from the downloaded archive to the folder c:\wamp\www\drupal.

f. If you go now to http://localhost you would see that new project is added:

g. Before customizing of your new project, we need to create an empty database. Go to:http://localhost/phpmyadmin and choose menu option Databases. You will see:



h. On Create Database section type new database name, i.e. drupal_db and click Create:

i. You will see notification about successful database creation, also the database will appear in the listof databases:

j. Now we switch to http://localhost/ and click on Your Projects drupal link:



k. First run of Drupal profile project will launch a Wizard to complete customization:

Press Save and continue.

l. Next window: Choose language. English is set by default. Press Save and continue.

m. Next window: Set up database.Choose database type: MySQL or SQLite option;Field Database name: type database name, i.e. drupal_db;Field Database username: type root;Field Database password: generate a pass, if needed.

Check Advanced options if necessary:



Press Save and continue.

n. Install profile progress will start, usually it has 28 options to install:

o. When it is done, next window: Configure site will request to fill data about site information andserver settings, email addresses to get notifications etc. When you fill these data and save it,Installation wizard will report about finishing of installation Drupal. In the end, you will be welcome tovisit your new site with provided link.



Now you may start developing your project!

2.2.2 VPN with OpenVPN GUI

1. Install OpenVPN from http://swupdate.openvpn.org/community/releases/openvpn-2.2.2-install.exe,at the moment when this Wiki was written.\

2. Your setup is going to work in road warrior mode. For this, you need to ask for ca.crt,-warrior.crt, -warrior.key and -warrior.ovpn from availableadministrator.

Note for admins: the -warrior.crt, -warrior.key has to be generated on vpnserver than provided to the user together with accomodated for user settings-warrior.ovpn into an archive. User will unzip it and use on OpenVPN setup.

3. Before starting VPN connection, key and certificate files have to be copied to configuration folder ofOpenVPN. Click Start, follow: All Programs OpenVPN Shortcuts OpenVPN configuration filedirectory

4. Windows Explorer opens this configuration. Paste there received key and certificate files.

5. Launch OpenVPN. You will find its status icon is system tray. Right-click on the icon and chooseConnect.

2.2.3 VoIP with Jitsi

Jitsi is a crossplatform SIP communicator and XMPP client, because of this it can work on Windows,Linux and MacOS. With it you can can connect to the company VoIP server and chat server. Here youwill see how to install, setup and call to/from it on Windows.

The download link at the moment of wiki was written ishttps://download.jitsi.org/jitsi/windows/jitsi-1.0-latest-x86.exe Please follow the official site for versionupdates.

Installation of Jitsi is very simple as almost any Windows software. By clicking next button leave thedefault options provided by installer. Jitsi is gonna be used from work stations that are inside ofYopeso VPN. Before setup you have to ask for your user/password from any available systemadministrator.

When you get it installed, you will be provided with an Add new account window same as in myscreen. In this window, from the flotant Network menu you need to choose SIP.

In window you have to introduce:l

SIP id - it is formated from [email protected]. In my [email protected].

Note: As you see the username is composed from Y(first letter from Yopeso)_MD(Yopeso location youare working)_vbrinza(your Helpdesk username)_444(Your internal number). By using this number youcan call and be called to/by your coleagues. There are also a external number on which you arereachable from outside numbers. Find your numbers(internal and external) in the Yopeso Adressbookimported on your PC or smartphone.

Password - the one got from admin. This is NOT the Helpdesk password.



Press the Add button. And you get the account added with Online status and green bullet like inlscreen.

If you will get a Connection failed message.lTo fix, open Jitsi, go to Tools Options. Here you see account you just added.lSelect the account, press the Edit button. Press the Security tab, here you see a chek box onlEnable support to encrypt calls. Disable it like in my screenshot.



Press Next button. Jitsi show you the Summary of your settings. Press the Sign in button.



Now you see your account changing collor into light greenlTo confirm correct setup, call one of the admins internal nr. and ask them to call back.lThanks.l

2.2.4 SSH with WinSCP and Putty

WinSCP is free SFTP, SCP and FTP client for Windows which provides the simpliest way to arrangementioned types of connections to remote hosts. WinSCP may be downloaded here:http://winscp.net/eng/download.php

When installed, you will see connection window to perform connection:



Fill host name, user name and password fields to setup remote host connection.

If connection to be established with protection of private key, indicate key file location in Private keyfile field.

The similar functionality may be gotten by PUTTY.PuTTY is an SSH and telnet client, developed originally by Simon Tatham for the Windows platform.PuTTY is open source software that is available with source code and is developed and supported by agroup of volunteers.

This software doesn't require installation.

It is even more easy than WinSCP. Creating connection to remote host requires step by step dataproviding.

How-to-use example

When installed, Cropper may be found StartAll Programs. Started up application will be hidden in thesystem tray. Click on it and you will see on the screen capturing area:

If you right-click on the selected area, context menu will suggest you output options. Select output to



*.PNG. General options will provide data about output folder, where files can be found.When you select area to be grabbed from the screen, press Enter. PNG file will be saved to outputfolder. Then it can be easily attached to Helpdesk issue.

Greenshot

Greenshot is a light-weight screenshot software tool for Windows with the following key features:- Create complete or partial screenshots quickly.- Easily annotate, highlight or obfuscate parts of the screenshot.- Send the screenshot to a file, the clipboard, a printer or as e-mail attachment.Being easy to understand and configurable, Greenshot is an efficient tool for project managers,software developers, technical writers, testers and anyone else creating screenshots.

Greenshot application is placed in system tray. When you right-click, you will see its context menu:

To capture, click PrtScr key. Greenshot will draw capturing grid. Select area to capture, click Enter.Greenshot will launch its image editor:



Then you may easily edit and save your captured image to a file with appropriate extension andupload it to Helpdesk issue.

2.3 Linux

2.3.1 LAMP Server

Build Your Own Debian/Ubuntu LAMP Server. Note: Linux + Apache + MySQL + PHP/Perl togethercommonly known as LAMP Server.

Apache 2 - Linux Web server MySQL 5 - MySQL Database Server PHP5 - PHP Scripting LanguagephpMyAdmin - Web-based database admin software.

Installing Apache + PHPl

apt-get install apache2 php5 libapache2-mod-php5

Apache configuration file is located at: /etc/apache2/apache2.conf and your web folder is /var/www.

To check whether php is installed and running properly, just create a test.php in your /var/www folderwith phpinfo() function exactly as shown below.

nano /var/www/test.php

and add this:



# test.php

Point your browser to http://ip.address/test.php or http://domain/test.php and this should show allyour php configuration and default settings.

Installing MySQL Database Serverl

apt-get install mysql-server mysql-client php5-mysql

The configuration file of mysql is located at: /etc/mysql/my.cnf

PhpMyAdmin Installationl

PhpMyAdmin is a nice web based database management and administration software and easy toinstall and configure under apache. Managing databases with tables couldnt be much simpler byusing phpmyadmin.

All you need to do is:

apt-get install phpmyadmin

The phpmyadmin configuration file is located at: /etc/phpmyadmin folder.

Now restart Apache:

/etc/init.d/apache2 restart

Point your browser to: http://domain/phpmyadmin

That's it! MySQL and phpMyAdmin are ready. Log in with your mysql root password and create usersto connect to database from your php script.

2.4 Android

2.4.1 Company Address Book with carddav-sync

1. Install the Card Dav sync from Android Play Store

2. Open it and press Create new account



3. In the Server name or URL introduce Link: cal.yopeso.com/SOGo/dav/yopeso_support/



4. Let the Use SSL checkbox active.

5. In the Username field introduce your Helpdesk username

6. In the Password field introduce your Helpdesk password.

7. Press Next button.

8. You get a window where you have to introduce the name of the account just added.



9. The right name for it is Yopeso Address book



10. Press Finish button.

11. You get the window from where you started to add account. Now press Go to accounts & sync



12. Here you see just added address book YOPESO Address book, press on it, press on your phonemenu touch button, you will get the Sync now button which you have to press. After some secondsthe accounts are syncronized and you can see Yopeso Address book with light green circle andstatus Sync on



13. If you go to your accounts now you can see new retrieved accounts from Yopeso Calendar and forevery account completed fields like Call work, Call mobile, Email work, Birthday

2.4.2 Calendar with caldav-sync

1. Install the CalDav-sync from Android Play Store 2. Open it and press Create new account



3. Fill the fields, using a template:

Server name or URL introduce Link: cal.yopeso.com/SOGo/dav/Username field introduce your Helpdesk usernamepassword helpdesk password



4. Enter the the email address it will be @cal.yopeso.com as shown above:



5. Check if the calendar was added

2.4.3 Helpdesk with MantisBT app

1. Run MantisTouch application and configure it as shown in the next screenshot: API Url:https://dev.yopeso.com/mantisbt-1.2.10/api/soap/mantisconnect.php



2.4.4 VoIP with CSipSimple

1. You need your user and password to access VoIP server. Ask for them to any avaiable systemadministrator. Please specify to the administrator where do you plan to use this device.

Note for administrator: If the device is gonna be used outside of our networks where VPN is notactive, all the steps has to be done, with proper changes regarding transport. If it will be used only



inside our networks via VPN, than the account will register on step 3 and no other actions needs to bedone from your side.

2. The build to be installed - UP to Link:http://nightlies.csipsimple.com/trunk/CSipSimple-r1662-trunk.apk or the last available build on thetime of installation. Important is if that the build has to work correctly with TLS and ZRTP. So far, theversions up to CSipSimple-r1662-trunk, are correctly working with TLS and ZRTP.

3. When app was installed, add your account:

Press Add acount buttonlYou get a Choose Wizardl

Here you roll down and choose Basic. You get the window on screenshot bellow.l



In the Account name field introduce Name you want to be displayed, in my screenshot - YopesolVBRINZA.



In the User field introduce username you got from admins, in my screenshot -lY_MD_vbrinza_444.



As you see the username is composed from Y(first letter from Yopeso)_MD(Yopeso location you areworking)_vbrinza(your Helpdesk username)_444(Your internal number). By using this number you cancall and be called to/by your coleagues. There are also a external number on which you are reachablefrom outside numbers. Find your numbers(internal and external) in the Yopeso Adressbook importedon your PC or smartphone.

In the Server field introduce yellow.yopeso.com:5061.l



In the Password field introduce password you got from admins. The password field has alcheck-box that if pressed will show the password you introduce. This feature permit you not to makeerrors on password. Note: The password is different from Helpdesk one. Don't write it anywhere! Itis security critical!



After all fields was completed, press Save buttonl

4. After this was done, you will still have an Error registering like in screenshot.



To finish the setup you have to:

Long press on new added account, you get the window from screenshot.l



Press Choose wizard.lRoll down, choose Expert, that is 2 positions bellow Basic.lNow the icon of added account changed. This means that Expert mode is active.l



Now when you press the account you see that you got more options in Sip Authentication.lHere you need to change Transport, press on it and choose TLS.l



Roll down and you will see ZRTP Mode, press on it and choose Create ZRTP.l



Now press Save button.lNow you see your account changing collor into light green and changed status into Registered.l



To confirm correct setup, call one of the admins internal nr. and ask them to call back.l

2.5 iOS

2.5.1 Calendar with iCal

First you must to subscribe to the available calendars as described in the 1.2 Calendars with Lightning.

Follow these steps to set up sync through CalDav:

1. Open Settings , as shown in the next screenshots



2. Chose Mail, Contacts, Calendars



3. Add Account



4. Select Other



5. Add CalDAV Account



6. Enter Server URL and your credentials

Server: https://cal.yopeso.com/SOGo/dav/yopeso_support/Username: password:



7. Check if calendars was added



2.5.2 Company Addressbook with CardDAV

The procedure is the same till step 5.
