INTRODUCTION
The following report will deal with the results of a magnetometer survey carried out on a one-unit claim (# 1236317) located in Pitt Township, Porcupine Mining Division, Ontario. This work was carried out on a contract basis on April 5, by Vision Exploration on behalf of M J. Labelle Construction Company Ltd.
A total of 2.4.km of flagged grid lines were established to cover claim # 1236317. This grid was then covered in its entirety with a magnetometer survey.
The purpose of this work program was to provide geophysical data that would aid in the geological interpretation of the area.

LOCATION AND ACCESS
Claim # 1236317 (l unit) is located approximately 130km. north from the town ofSmoothrock Falls, Ontario, in the northwest portion of Pitt Township, Porcupine Mining Division.Locally, the property is situated about l-km northwest of Ontario Hydro's Otter Rapids Power
Generation Station. The claim can be located wit the following UTM co-ordinated; 5559700mN,4535500mE.
Access to the work area was gained by taking Hwy 634 north from the town of Smoothrock Falls for roughly 75km to Fraserdale. From Fraserdale, Ontario Hydro maintains an all weather gravel road, which runs north for another 55km to their Otter Rapids generating station. It should be note that Ontario Hydro occasionally locks the gate at the Otter Rapids Dam, limiting access. From Otter Rapids the property can be accessed by using a network of local roads.

CLAIMS
The claim covered by this work program is held by M J. Labelle Construction Company Ltd. and is as follows.
1236317...................... l unit.....................Pitt Twp.
WORK PROGRAM
The work program involved establishing 2.4km of flagged grid lines over which the magnetometer survey was carried out. The grid specifications were set up using an east-west base line with north-south cross-lines at 100-meter intervals and 25-meter station interval.
Once the grid was established it was covered with a magnetometer surveys with readings every 25 meters. This data was then contoured and plotted on a plan map, which can be found in the back pocket of this report.
The following is a brief description of the geophysical methods and parameters used:

MAGNETOMETER THEORY
A GEM GSMT-19 Proton Precession magnetometer was used to carry out the magnetometer survey. The instrument is synchronised with a GEM GSMT-19 recording base station to help eliminate magnetic diurnal variation. This should ensure an accuracy of less than 1.0 Nt.
The Proton Precession method involves energising a wire coil immersed in a hydrocarbon fluid. This causes the protons in the proton rich fluid to spin or precess simulating spinning magnetic dipoles. When the current is removed the protons precess about the direction of the earth's magnetic field, generating a signal in the same coil which is proportional to the total magnetic field intensity. In thisway, the horizontal gradient of the earth's magnetic field can be measured and plotted in plan form withvalues of equal intensity joined to form a contour map.
This presentation is useiul in correlating with other data sets to aid in structural interpretation. Individual magnetic responses can be interpreted for dip, depth and width estimates after profiling the
data.
The following parameters were employed for the survey:
Instrument - GEM, GSMT-19 Proton Precession MagnetometerReading Interval - 25mLine Interval - 100mDiurnal Correction Method - GEM GSMT-19 Recording Base StationData Presentation - Data posted and contoured plan map

SURVEY RESULTS
The magnetometer survey conducted on the subject claim was successful in outlining one area of high magnetic susceptibility that may represent a near surface bedrock expression. This feature extends from LO/100S to LI W/125S.
A second magnetic high runs from L2W/225S to L3W/200S. This area was previously used by Ontario Hydro and Ontario Northland as dumpsites. It was recently covered and is no longer used as a dumpsite but the covered debris is coincident with and likely the source of this zone.
RECOMMENDATIONS AND CONCLUSIONS
As described under the results, this work program outlines an area that may be the result of shallow overburden cover.M. J. Labelle operates a quarry to the north of the subject claim and plans to extend this quarry in the direction of claim #1236317. The magnetic anomaly described may be an area to focus on for this planned quarry extension.
