The senior healthcare design studio was sponsored by HDR-Omaha. The project had a goal of designing a new cancer center on the University of Nebraska's Medical Campus. As a member of interdisciplinary design team, my approach was to propose a design solution for a 108-bed hospital that would allow collaboration between clinical service and research. Design of the building and interior space was inspired by the concept of “Flow”.

The Assisted Living & Memory Care Facility located in Panama city is sponsored by Panama Pacifico. This facility will be, in essence, a self-contained community for retirees and their spouses who may need varying degrees of medical and social assistance as the result of their aging process.

As a team effort, the design intention was to promote a good balance between innovative, dynamic environments and sustainable, humanistic and comfortable spaces, also provide a clear circulation routes which is convenience and functional for the aging people. The combination of modern and traditional styles results in a maximized and multi-sensory experience for our clients.
