    1.0 INTRODUCTION

    1.1 Project Summary

PCSB SKO IFL™ offshore installation campaign was successfully completed on 5 th December 2014. IFL were inserted through four (4) pipelines i.e. PL 238, PL 220, PL 218and PL 221. Interconnections of these pipelines between platforms are as follows:

    a) PL 238 (WL-4 to WLP-C)b) PL 220 (WLP-A to WL-4)c) PL 218 (WL-123 to WLDP-B)d) PL 221 (WLDP-A to WL-123)

Apart from IFL™ installation through pipelines, corresponding topside piping modificationwas also part of APSM scope of work during that offshore installation campaign. In a tightschedule given the team has manageably prompted the task given and completed it on time.

However as other projects would engage in as well, there are some punch lists andadditional work to be done in conjunction with this West Lutong project. Generally, the taskor scope of work to be done in this 8-hour shutdown allocated by PCSB SKO this comingMarch 2015 is as below:

    a) To close out remaining punch list (refer latest revision of punch list in Appendix A)b) To install polymer coupons at platform WLP-A and WLDP-A

The above scope of work will be spelled out deliberately later on in Chapter 2  – Scope ofWork

    1.0 INTRODUCTION

This procedure outlines the specific job steps only on pre-assemble and installation ofpolymer coupon at offshore. One (1) set of polymer coupon consists of parts as follows:

    a) 2” x 600# WNRF Flanged Access Fitting b) Heavy Duty Cover complete with Pressure Gaugec) Disk Rack Coupon Holder Body and Coverd) 10 nos of Disc Coupons

Detail Material Take-Off (MTO) of Polymer Coupon assembly can be referred to Appendix A – Polymer Coupon General Arrangement Drawing

    2.0 RESPONSIBILITY

    2.1 Project Management Team (PMT)

Briefly explain on the task to be done, expectation, safety precautions and adviseteam on technical requirements highlighted by client.

    2.2 General Supervisor

Oversee installation activity from preparation to commissioning work in terms ofnecessity of scaffolding, manpower, ensure erection material availability andsufficiency.

    2.3 Rigger

With respect to the onshore pre-assembly of the polymer coupon set, riggershall, by means of appropriate tools, tighten all the parts together and leave onlythe bolt tightening part that has to be done on site / offshore.

Upon arrival of materials and erection of scaffolding, if necessary, for installationaccess, rigger is responsible to rig up the pre-assembled polymer coupon sets atthe designated area and subsequently tighten corresponding stud bolts at flange joints.

    5.0 PROCEDURE DETAILS

    5.1 Assembly of Polymer Coupon

5.1.1 Polymer coupon is initially assembled onshore to minimize working activity offshoreduring shutdown window. All ten (10) polymer coupon sets, five (5) each for platformWLDP-A and WLP-A respectively, whose parts are tightened together with referenceof Polymer Coupon General Arrangement Drawing.

5.1.2 All threads shall be applied with grease before installation in order to avoid corrosionthat may make them difficult to be loosened during disc coupon retrieving process.

    5.2 Installation of Polymer Coupon

5.2.1 As provisions for polymer coupon tie-in, 6” pipe with 2” flangeolet has been fabricatedand installed on-site. Flange type connection gives an easier maintenance and disccoupon retrieving process rather than welded type.

5.2.2 At all time, Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) shall be put on to ensure safety ofpersonnel.

5.2.3 Permit applicant shall prepare the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Permit-To-Work(PTW). This shall be verified by CSR and approved by SOR of respective platformsprior to work execution.

5.2.4 Scaffolding shall be erected when working at height. General Supervisor shall instructthe Rigger Foreman and team on exact task to be done and job area intended.

5.2.5 Scaffolding erection shall be executed adhering to 601401/3004/C/PRC/1023  – Scaffolding Procedure

5.2.6 Appointed riggers shall check on the tools availability and compatibility before use.Manual torque wrench with appropriate size is to be provided to tighten all stud boltsat flange joints as per CSP requirements.

5.2.7 Prior to tightening the stud bolts, marking in-line with series of inlet bores of disc rackcoupon holder shall be prepared with permanent marker at visible location, preferablyat the heavy duty cover. This marking is anticipated to guide and ensure the inletbores are facing the product flow direction.

5.2.8 All threads shall be applied with grease before installation in order to avoid corrosionthat may make them difficult to be loosened during disc coupon retrieving process.

5.2.9 Pressure Gauge (PG) shall be installed with its dial facing towards readable andvisible position whereby it is easier for the Operations to take the reading.

5.2.10 It is also to ensure that all polymer coupons are installed according to polymercoupon part / identification number as per isometric drawings. Identification plateshall be tied anywhere visible at the polymer coupon body using aluminium wire.

    5.3 Service Leak Test

5.3.1 During pre-commissioning and upon introduction of product, polymer coupon flangeand thread joints shall be tested with leak test liquid detector.

5.3.2 Appointed QC Inspector shall execute the leak test and it is witnessed by client’srepresentative. Any built-up bubbles produced due to potential leaks shall be visuallymonitored and inspected for five (5) minutes.
