kkim, a beautiful state nestled in the Himalayas and endowed with exceptional natural
beauty is India's second smallest state though gifted with incomparable exquisiteness.
Despite of being located in a far-off north-eastern corner, small size and hilly topography, the state
has established a distinct identity for various opportunities in food processing due to its favorable
geography and climatic conditions.
In its quest to develop strategic symbiotic synergy between the
efforts of the Government and the industry towards the
development of food processing and allied sectors in NE region,
ASSOCHAM is taking an initiative to organizing this day long
workshop with an aim to reach the budding and small time
processed food units in the state of Sikkim and make aware about
various assistance plans and schemes of the Central/State
Government.

food processing sector.
