Welcome and Introduction

A One Day Workshop on Node JS and Angular JS was organized by Information

Technology Engineering Department of Gyanmanjari Institute of Technology on

31st

of December,2019. The primary goal of this One Day Workshop was

to enhance the technical knowledge of students about Node JS and Angular JS

development.

Node.js is an open-source, cross-platform JavaScript run-time environment that

executes JavaScript code outside of a browser. JavaScript is used primarily for

client-side scripting, in which scripts written in JavaScript are embedded in a

webpage's HTML and run client-side by a JavaScript engine in the user's web

browser. Node.js lets developers use JavaScript to write command line tools and

for server-side scripting—running scripts server-side to produce dynamic web

page content before the page is sent to the user's web browser.

AngularJS is a JavaScript-based open-source front-end web application

framework mainly maintained by Google and by a community of individuals and

corporations to address many of the challenges encountered in developing single-

page applications.

The AngularJS framework works by first reading the Hypertext Markup

Language (HTML) page, which has additional custom tag attributes embedded

into it. Angular interprets those attributes as directives to bind input or output

parts of the page to a model that is represented by standard JavaScript variables.

The values of those JavaScript variables can be manually set within the code, or

retrieved from static or dynamic JSON resources.

Session – 1 (Introduction Session)

The basic introduction about the Node JS and Angular JS was given by the expert.

In addition, he also gave the information regarding different technology and

Frame-work from market point of view.

The following topics were covered in the first session – 1:

1. An introduction about Node JS, API and Java Script.

2. Importance of ECMA Script and its Features.

3. Basic concept of Jason (Array, Object).

Session –2 (Practical Session)

After the basic introduction about the Node JS Development was given by the

expert, next the students got the chance to practically implement the concepts of

Node JS development.

The following topics were covered in the first session – 2:

1. Github Repository.

2. An introduction about Angular JS and Type Script.

3. Spread Operator and For…off Loop.

Conclusion

At the end of workshop, Mr. Sagar Damani (KNOWARTH Technologies Pvt.

Ltd.)gave very positive and energetic words to all students. And also encourage

them to participate in various kinds of workshops for gaining extra knowledge. He

also discussed about scope of Node JS and Angular JS and its related technologies.
