Initiative

• On the behalf of Capacity Building Cell of South

Gujarat region, Biotechnology Department, Veer Narmad

South Gujarat University, Surat, had organized a six day’s

Crash Course Program during 22nd to 27th February, 2012.

• This was sponsored by Gujarat State Biotechnology

Mission (GSBTM), Gandhinagar a vital step and

initiative from the government of Gujarat to promote the

biotechnology student for national competitive

examinations.

Participation

• Students from the various institute of the South Gujarat

region were screened and after selection participated in

the workshop through the series of lectures from 8:00 am

to 8:00 pm delivered by eminent teachers and experts on

various topics of utmost importance for competitive

exam.

Workshop Objectives

• To develop frameworks for polishing the student by talk

important for examination point of view.

• To motivate the student for appearing the the examination.

• To discuss key issues related to the examination and

developments the strategic planning.

Total 72 students studying in S.Y. B. Sc. and T. Y. B. Sc.

(Biotechnology, Microbiology and related subjects)from

various institutes were participated in the workshop.
