inspiring environment for creativity. For unrestricted access to thegallery it is advisable to make a note of the workshop dates &/or

make enquiries prior to your visit. We whole-heartedly encourage and welcome visitors to the gallery - not only to see the exhibitedwork, but also to see the various activities. However, while the workshops are underway wewould ask you to show courtesy and consideration to those taking part:

- Please ask a member of staff if it is appropriate to enter the gallery at that particular time(it may be awkward if the tutor is giving an involved explanation or demonstration).

- Our first consideration has to be to those who are on the workshop - so we will alwaysask permission of the tutor and students if visitors may look around. In general, those on theworkshop welcome visitors, but there may be exceptional circumstances.

- The students are usually more than willing to show and discuss the work in progress, butplease respect the wishes of those who are deep in concentration. Please be as quiet aspossible, and try not to restrict the activities of the workshop.

We hope that by pointing out these few considerations that both the gallery andworkshop events can be fully appreciated by visitors and participants alike.
