Workspace
June 2013
TELUS Workspace connected to SharePoint 2010 Foundation allows you to create a
workspace on the Web where employees can share files, work collaboratively on documents
and schedule meetings. It saves time and ensures efficiency of collaborative projects.
Workspace allows you to store files within a centralized repository of documents and
automatically store multiple versions of the document.
Example:
Workspace Site URL address is http://aabc.devtest.local, the Instance Name will be
displayed as Workspace Service – aabc.devtest.local.
For information on how to log in to the UC Management Centre and/or how to create a new
user, please consult the UC Management Centre Customer Admin Guide.

Workspace site. The roles are managed within the Workspace site by a Site Administrator.
When a Workspace site is created, four default Workspace Roles are created. Additional
roles can be added to a Workspace site and will be fed through to the UC Management
Centre UI for selection.
A user can be assigned to multiple Workspace roles.
