Dear Mr. Saharty,

I am sending herewith an updated version of the Co1nsolidated Procurement Plan2012-l3 of DGFP incorporating some changes which were necessary to address the need ofdifferent Line Directors and complete the procurement pacMages as well. The detailedchanges and justification are given below for your review and cohsideration:

1. We have received one request letter from Director (Admin1 of NIPORT to procure oneSUV (Jeep) for them on 12 December,2012. The Ministryl has identified DGFP as theprocuring entity for them. We have one package at the serial no 24 (GFPIPS-24112) toprocure 3 SUV, the purchase summery of which has been spnt to Ministry for approval.There is no provision to increase the quantity as 20% of3 SUV do not make up one SUV.Therefore we want to add one more package at serial no 26 (GFPINPT-26112) to procure

one SUV for NIPORT. Noteworthy to mention that MOHFW is the approving authorityof sl no 24 and DGFP for sl no 26.

2. This year DGFP kept a provision of Framework Agreement (2012-14)for the first time toprocure some pharmaceuticals which requires every yedr. The document is underpreparation with the help of MSHISIAPS and requires furt~er vetting from World bankand CPTU. That is why looking at the available time we have decided to procure thoseitems for one year following regular procurement process. I The changes were made inserial no 19 and 20. Framework Agreement can be adoP1ed in 20l3-14 after havingnecessary approval and orientation.

3. We have made a change in the quantity as well as in the estimated cost in the serial no 22(GFPIMC-22112 Tab. Misoprostal(200mg). The quantity ~as inadvertently written as150000 pes which would be 1.5 million pes. The estimated Icost was also not correct asthis item is going to be procured for the first time. Therefore both quantity and cost isrevised.

4. The last one is serial no 10 (GFP/CC-I0112, IUD Sterilizer kits). The estimated cost isbeen revised as this item was procured some 10112 years back. Through marketverification the prices has been re-fixed.

Under the circumstances, we would appreciate it very much i~ you please review thechanges and accord no objection on the Revised Consolidated Procurement Plan ofDGFP, as soon as possible so that we can complete the related drocurement on time.
