Gaps:-Inadequate infant & young child feeding curriculum session plan- Inadequate of standard of guideline for mother friendly /child birth

procedures & support

Recommendations• Develop a feeding curriculum to be used-• Develop & disseminate the standard guidelines to all facilities &

personnel providing maternity care and services• Develop a systematic continuous in service training • Enhance and integrate infant feeding & young child feeding information

and skills into the existing training programs and in-services that is ongoing and provided within the country
