Lawrence (Larry) Ellison - childhood

Oracle's founder and CEO born in New York. At 9 months he contracted pneumonia his 19-year-old mother gave him to her relatives

in Chicago to raise Until he was 12 years old he did not know that

he was adopted His adoptive father had lost his real estate

business in the Great Depression

He has joined University of Illinois. During the final exams in his second year,

− his adoptive mother died − he dropped out of school

Joined the University of Chicago− dropped out again after the first semester

Moved to California− For the 8 years , he has bounced from job to job

Made the first Apple− A local store offered to bought 50 machines and to

finance the production Jobs sold his WV and Wozniak sold his HP Scientific

Jobs company came back again with Macintosh Steve jobs convinced John Sculley to leave

Pepsi Cola and to work as Apple CEO 1986 , Apple revenues was 2$ billion and with

4000 employees Jobs fired by Sculley from Apple !!

The man who invented the world wide web (www)

Born in 1955 in London, England His parents were both mathematicians graduated as a Physics major from Oxford

University in 1976 he built his first computer using: a soldering

iron, TTL gates, an M6800 processor and an old television
