Absences and Late Work • Students have until the end of the unit to complete all
late notebook assignments for 70% credit. These assignments must be in the work packet when it is turned in. I will not accept late assignments from a given unit once it is over. If it is an assignment that I am collecting, (i.e. an essay) students may turn it in two days past due for a maximum of 70% credit. Otherwise I will collect all assignments when I collect work packet. Some assignments will not be accepted late. I will let you know in advance which assignments these include.

• If a student is absent for a test or quiz s/he must make it up within the amount of time that is equal to the days s/he missed. For example, if a student was absent one day then s/he gets one day from that day that s/he arrives back at school to make up a test or quiz. If a student were absent five days, then s/he will be allotted five days from the date s/he returns to school to make up a test or quiz. It is the students responsibility to get any missed assignments from me or someone else in class either at break, lunch, or before school.
