The World Languages InstituteThe World Languages Institute
The WLI provides K-12 world language teachers with a graduate-level core program in pedagogy reflecting the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards and the National Standards for Second Language Teaching.
In 2006, the WLI initiated a program specially tailored to training native speakers of Chinese currently working in other fields to become effective teachers of the language to meet the needs of the New Jersey educational system.
