• The unit should only be connected to a properly grounded mains power supply withvoltagethatmatchesthatspecified.

OperationSafety
• Keeptheproductawayfromflammablegasesandliquids,candlesandopenflames.
• Donot installnearanyheatsourcessuchasradiators,stoves,orotherapparatusthatproduceheat.
• Do not attempt to repair or replace any part of this equipmentunless it is specifically recommended in theuserguide.Allotherservicesshouldbereferredtoaqualifiedtechnician.
• Makesurethepowercordispluggedfirmlyandcompletelyintotheoutlet.
• Holdthemainplug,notthewires,whenremovingfromasocket.
• Duringathunderstormswitchofftheunitandunplugfromthesocket.
• Donothandletheunitwithwethands.
• Only clean with a soft,dry cloth. Do not usesolvents or petroleumbasedfluids.
• Do not place heavyobjectsontheunit.
• Do not shake, knock ormove the product whilein operation, you maydamage the internalcircuits.

After cleaning, it is important to properly ventilate the roombeforeusingVirusKilleragain.
• Switchoffwhilecooking
Oils released while cooking may reduce the lifespan of thesterilizingmodule.Aftercooking,theroomshouldbeventilatedtoremoveoils.VirusKillercanthenbeusedtoremovetheremainingsmell.
• Ensureairflowisnotrestricted
DonotpositionVirusKillersothatairflowtoandfromtheunitisrestricted by large items such as furniture, electronic items orcurtains.
• Positionatleast3metresfromthebed
Toavoidexcessivecoolingcausedfromsleepingindirectairflow,werecommendpositioningVirusKilleratleast3metresawayfromthebed.
• Maintainproperventilation–30minutesperday
VirusKIllerisdesignedtopurifyandsterilizeyourindoorair,andwill do this very effectively if used correctly. Good indoor airqualityalsorequiresproperventilation.Werecommendopeningwindowsordoors,oroperatingA/Cunits,foratleast30minutesaday.
• Maintainregularservicingandmaintenance
Caution

AutomaticOperationMode
Whentheunitisswitchedon,eitherbythepowerswitchonthemaincontrolboardortheon/offbuttonontheremotecontrol,theproductisinautomaticmode.BlueLEDlightsaredisplayedandthefanissettoquietmode(FAN1).IfsmallamountsofdustorVOC’saredetectedbythesensor,theLEDcolorchangestoyellow.IfhighlevelsofdustorVOC’saredetected,theLEDchangestoredandthefanspeedswitchestofullpower(FAN3).WhenthedustorVOClevelsreturntohealthylevels,theunitautomaticallyreturnstoquietmodeanddisplaystheblueLED.

CleaningthePre-Filter
Theplasticpre-filterisreusable.Tocleanitfollowthisprocedure:
1. Pulloutthefiltercase ①.
2. Removepre-filtercase ② fromfiltercase ① andseparatefromcarbonfilter ③
andHEPAfilter ④.
3. Cleanthepre-filterwithplainwater. 4. Allowtodrycompletelyoutofdirectsunlight.5. ReplaceEnsureyouhaveremovedtheHEPAandcarbonfiltersbeforewashingthepre-filter
We recommend you check the pre-filter regularly and clean it as often as necessary,dependingonthelevelsofpollution. 14
ReplacingtheCarbonFilterandHEPAFilter
Every2000hourstheFILTERLED①changescolorfrombluetored,indicatingitistimetoreplacetheHEPAandcarbonfilters.Afterreplacingthefilters(asshownabove)press
andholdtheUPswitch ② foratleast5secondstoresettheFILTERtimertozero.
TheHEPAandcarbonfiltersarenotreusableandshouldbereplaced. DependingonthelevelsofpollutionthelifetimeoftheHEPAandcarbonfiltersmaybelongerorshorterthantherecommended2000hoursusetime.
Please contact your local customer service center or distributor to purchasereplacementHEPAandcarbonfilters.

Every8000hourstheMODULELED①changescolorfrombluetoredandthedisplay
showsaminusfigure ②,indicatingitistimetoreplacetheReactorCell(alsocalledthe
SterilizingModule).
CAUTIONTheReactorCellisnotreusableandshouldbereplaced. The Reactor Cell is a complex and high voltage piece of equipment. Users are notpermittedtoattemptrepairorreplacement.Allworkistobecarriedoutbyaqualifiedtechnician.Please contact your local customer service center or distributor to arrange for theReactorCelltobereplaced.

CleaningtheIndoorAirQuality(IAQ)Sensor
TheIAQsensorisaverydelicateinstrumentthatuseslightscatteringtodetectpollution.Ittherefore needs a clean lens to work effectively. Regular maintenance (every 6 months)shouldbecarriedouttokeepthelensclean. Important - Only use purewater and allow to dry completely before replacing. To avoiddamagetotheplasticlensdonotusechemicalssuchasbenzeneoralcoholetc. ProceduretomaintainandcleantheIAQSensor:
1. LocatetheIAQsensoronthesideoftheunit2. Cleanlenswithacleancottonswabdampenedwithpurewaterasshownbelow.3. Allowlenstodrycompletely.
CAUTION Donotspraywaterorperfumenearthesensor.

ReactorCellReplacementDue
When the display shows a minus figure the Reactor Cell (Sterilizing Module) is due forreplacement. It is importanttoarrangethiswhenpromptedtoavoidanyreduction inthesterilizingpowerandlifespanoftheunit.Switchofftheunitandcontactthecustomerservicecenter.
CircuitOverheatError
Thebelowerrormessageisdisplayedwhenthecircuitisoverheated.Switchofftheunitandcontactthecustomerservicecenter.

PoorAirQualityIndicator
WhenfinedustandVOC’saredetectedatunhealthylevelsbytheIAQsensor,theDUST ①
andVOC’s ② LEDlightswillchangefromredtoblue.VirusKillershouldbesettoFAN3and
theroomventilatedtoimprovetheairquality.TheLEDlightswillchangetobluewhentheairqualityhasreturnedtohealthylevels.
Troubleshooting Beforeyoucallforservice,reviewthislist.Itmaysaveyoutimeandexpense.Thislistincludescommonoccurrencesthatarenottheresultofdefectinworkmanshipormaterials.
