Information• Soldiers had daggers and hand guns
for emergencies. They also had grenades, machine guns, bazookas, tanks and aeroplanes.
• The battle fields were up to 250,000 meters long.

Trenches
Camouflage • Men had to were the best
camouflage to match there surroundings so they would be able to creep up on there enemies.
Countries
Conditions• If it rained the soldiers had to sleep on muddy
floors, they would be wet all night.
• Thousands of rats, the size of cats, would run over there faces all night long.
• Rats would eat dead peoples liver which would make them bigger than some cats.
Rats
Food• In WW1 soldiers ate Bread, jam, baked beans
and other canned foods.
• They would drink tea, water and sometimes rum
Animals
Diseases• Most of the soldiers got lice, they would breed
in the seams of filthy clothing causing them to itch unceasingly.
• Lots of soldiers chose to cut all their hair off to avoid getting nits.
• Other diseases were colds trench
foot, typhoid, shell shock and
trench mouth.
