WorldAPP Offline v2.0WorldAPP's Offline Oasis release introduces numerous enhancements to the WorldAPP Offline mobile application such as:

Advanced Show/Hide logic is now fully supported

Offline Score calculator

Data Flow synchronization with Contact Manager: use information from Contact Manager in your form or survey and then send updated information back

Forms with Lookup Questions 

New synchronization section

General synchronization speed boost – the whole process was rebuilt

Interactive piping that works between questions on the same page

New Functionality in Forms and Surveys File Upload – new question type was added in order to allow your respondents to not only submit their files along with responses, but to manage them before/after submission (if your form settings allow for it).

Save button – additional button that enables incomplete form data to be saved. By default, it is enabled in all questionnaires along with the Back button.

Multilingual feature now available for forms.

Short names for questions and answer options – rename form elements for ease of use and reference to later response piping, logic rules and plugins settings.

Introducing Linear FormsNew data collection utility that supports logic and is fully compatible with the WorldAPP Offline mobile application. 

Logic and page structure of Linear Forms are similar to the Custom Forms.

A linear question layout replicates a traditional survey layout but managing questions is even easier with its brand new drag and drop interface. 

Multiple Contact Managers and PortalsNow you can store multiple respondents databases in the same account! And on top of that, each Contact Manager has its own Participant Portal. Thus, different Contact Managers can have independent scoring systems, applied plugins, and their own custom designs.

When launching a survey simply select a Contact Manager you would like to use and proceed as usual. 

Reporting EnhancementsThe look and feel of Online Reports was improved significantly:  Reports, by default, now inherit CSS styles of your forms and surveys. Same predefined or custom themes along with logos are applied to standard and custom reports by default:

Edit Graph and Export Graph sections are now combined into one

Security Enhancements  Data encryption at REST: Auto‐filled information and all responses are encrypted inside the database in accounts where data encryption is enabled. AES‐256 bits key length algorithm has been implemented.

Password reminder page does not have an autocomplete feature anymore. Thus, your login is secured even here.

[SurveyID] and RID cookies are made HTTP only

Alert message notifying the user that the “login name was not found” on password reminder page has been removed to prevent username hacking and other attacks.

New Plugins GPS Location allows the capture of the user/respondents location using the browser's geolocation feature. On devices equipped with GPS it captures user's real GPS coordinates.

API Improvements RESTful API improvements: 

• Ability to retrieve a single survey response from Participant Portal• Ability to create and edit objects that returns the JSO representation of the affected object per the de‐facto RESTful standard

API for Data Models and Contact Managers: query data, create, edit, delete objects API to publish a response for a given Participant Portal user Ability to launch emails with attachments through the API

JavaScript API improvements:• isRBR() function is implemented to detect if the form is opened in the Report by Respondent mode

• Response values from previous pages may be accessed

Other Changes Piping enabled in column headers

It is now possible to insert "unsubscribe" tags into email invitations and reminders that would point the user to the unsubscribe page in a specified language. Format of the tag is [REMOVE lang="xx"]

Special piping format is added for accurate passing of text and HTML code:  

TEXT:{Qx.Ay.Cz}, TEXT:[Qx.Ay.Cz]

Number of decimal places can be specified for custom number formats

Sorting of answer options is case‐insensitive when the question is shown to respondents

Lookup questions can be used as filters for other Lookup questions

Other Changes Contact Managers can be used with Lookup questions

UI of the Invitation Campaign in 360 surveys has been made consistent with the UI of the Publish on Participant Portal functionality

Circular progress bar plugin will now accept colors in hexadecimal (#ff0000)format as well as RGB numeric values

The Workflow plugin allows creation of incomplete responses on Participant Portal and assigning to another person

The Action Logger plugin now logs Data Flow actions

Removed Functionality As reports now inherit custom styles of forms/surveys that they belong to, existing reports with no design previously implemented will match the surveys/forms design. If a report had a custom design applied, the CSS code in this report will be overwritten with its survey/form design. This may also require adjusting the report's CSS.

Display Answer option checkbox on the Questions page was removed and now first 10 answer options are shown always, others are hidden.
