We express thanks to Tiffany Creech for providing our harvest table in the sanctuary. This table should remind of us all of the words of Henry Alford: “All the world is God’s own field, Fruit unto His praise to yield; Wheat and tares together sown, Unto Joy or sorrow grown, First the blade and then the ear Then the full corn shall appear; Lord of harvest, grant that we Wholesome grain and pure may be.” Let us come as thankful people and raise our song of harvest home.

Operation Christmas ChildIt’s time to prepare our Operation Christmas child shoe boxes for 2019. Be sure to pack your individual boxes with lots of love and prayers! Throughout the world, boys and girls will be able to not only hear of the love and saving power of Jesus Christ, but see His love put into action through the distribution of shoes boxes. Do not put candy and toothpaste in your box. Don’t forget to include $9.00 for shipping. If you would like for Bethany Jones to prepare a box for you, the cost is $25.00 (including shipping), contact her at 919-738-2801. Collection Sunday for shoe boxes will be November 17.
