We just need to provide the volunteers and a small cost of 25 cents per meal. So who should come and help? EVERYONE! Our goal is 10,000 meals. So far we have collected funds for 1,241 meals! The “Backpack Buddies” program is an ongoing ministry KBC has with Knightdale Elementary School. Although we aren’t delivering bags during the summer, we are continuing to collect items so that we will be prepared to start back in September. Donations like grits, oatmeal, soft packs of fruits, vegetables, soups, applesauce, pudding, canned meats, ramen noodles, individual packs of peanut butter, etc. are greatly appreciated. Thank you for all your help with this special ministry for the children in Knightdale!
